WHAT'S UP?
On this page, I want to talk about what's going on in my life, how school is going, and my plans for the near future. Let's see if I can manage to keep up with it...
I apologize if you find the back ground somewhat annoying, but I'll definitely change it frequently, so don't worry....
School is very hard this semester. I am taking two Political Science classes, they are fun but a lot of work. Spanish is not bad either, I'm in Introduction to Literature and I have learned a lot so far. I am finally finishing up Economics, I am in Micro right now and to be honest, I hate it... Then there's my History class, a graduate class in Colonial Latin American History. For that one, we have to read a book every week and write a review of it. Pretty much the hardest thing I've ever done! Hopefully it will make me a better writer.
I spent this year's Spring Break in Lexington, Kentucky, doing Alternative Spring Break (ASB). ASB is a group here at school that organizes service trips during spring break. Our job was to help out at a hospital, and we had a great time. There were 19 of us, eighteen girls and one guy, and everyone in our group was absolutely awesome!
I got a computer in the fall, and I am very excited about it. We have a computer at my house but I have never had my own computer before. Now I have a great Sony Vaio Notebook computer. Click here if you want to see it.
I have a job, too, I'm working as a tutor for the Athletic Association, and I'm really enjoying it. I tutor Spanish and Italian and that gives me a great chance to review the languages. And I get to earn some money!
My friend Emily and I just signed a lease for an apartment for next year! No more dorms! We are so excited and we can't wait to have parties and cook food and actually have room for our stuff! And now we can have visitors, too, so please come stay with us!
