The Kingdom of Tulsa
"Emancipate yourself from mental slavery."

A Message From Charles Beard, Former King of Tulsa

Esteemed Friends and Fellow Micronationalists:

It is with a heavy heart that I must inform you all that the Kingdom of Tulsa was dissolved on 4 September, 2000. There were several reasons for my decision to do this, not the least of which is the near total lack of activity throughout both the Royal Government and the citizenry in general.
However, since a few citizens wanted this Kingdom to go on, a successor state to the Kingdom may very well be in the cards. They will take control of the website and fora, but shall inherit neither the name of Tulsa or any diplomatic relations. Nevertheless, I implore all the micronational world to extend both friendship and recognition to this successor state, should it develop.
There are many people I wish to thank. First of all, I thank God, Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, for giving me this experience. It was no doubt through His Will that I stumbled upon micronationalism so that I could "meet" so many people and make so many good friends. Secondly, I'd like to thank the People of the Kingdom of Tulsa, particularly Archduke Uvon Tucker, for being my best micronational friend and chief advisor, David Palmer, for his brilliant work on the website, John Sager, for helping me to stick to it longer than I would have, and last (but certainly not least), Sir Paul Weir, for his excellent work in the Constitutional Convention.
I would also like to thank all of our friends on the foreign front, especially the Imperial Ras Diga Makonnen IV and Imperial Rasana Marie I for helping me out, giving advice, and generally being very good friends, the entire Rasinate of Q'attera-Macusiaa for its selfless and unwavering support of Tulsan interests, and finally Ambassador David Kendall, for designing the flag. I will most certainly miss the Kingdom, but I will try to keep in touch with you all, and I will pray for you.

Sincerely in Christ,

-Charles Beard
Former King of Tulsa
