What a wonderful response we have had for Reunion 2000! • • • Sam Wilcox tells us "You can't imagine how much I've been looking forward to the Georgetown High School reunion. The thought of getting to see people I haven't seen in 45 years yet who are frequently on my mind has kept me revved up for a couple of months now. I've made contact with long lost friends via e-mail and telephone....Apparently I now have to MAKE time for the pain both for my back and for my missed GHS opportunity!" Have a good time in Greenland, where you *say* you "won't have any nightlife because at this time of year there isn't any night...just 24 hours of sun...."
• • • Jo Wheeler will be joining us for afternoon snacks and sodas.
• • • Katherine Jacob Ludwig (1957) sent a donation of $10 but will miss our party because she'll be in Australia. Thank you, Katherine!
• • • Kay, Billie, and Eileen Adams' Mom will also join us in the afternoon.
• • • Susie Edwards Fleming (1961) can't attend but sent us a $10 donation! Thank you, Susie!!
• • • Donna Hausenfluck Campbell can't attend because she will be visiting her son in Japan, but she wants T-shirt and Programs!!! We'll miss you, Donna!
• • • Pat Gamble Smith (1959) cannot be at the reunion, but she sends this poem she wrote about the Chisholm Trail.
• • • According to our secret sources, Meredith McClain will be out of the country for most of the summer but did want to come. She sends all her best and says HELLO!!
