The More We Know

Each of the issues discussed as part of the World Literature course affects issues and experiences outside of the literature. Your group’s task is to gather resources related to this topic, identify their purpose, cull the important information useful to an in-depth discussion of the topic, and organize the information into your presentation.

Research should broaden the literature studied and/or address greater issues found in the group's Key Question.

Key Questions - Focus on your mastery group only.

• Stories Told - How can conflicting accounts offer unity?
• Faith & Duty - How does a hierarchy of consciousness affect a responsibility to faith and duty?
• Struggle - What value emanates from conflict of culture?
• Reconciliation - What are the effects of reconciliation on a culture?

Group
Each group must gather a minimum of six (6) resources including:

• Database information
• A magazine article
• A book
• Media – TV, movies, music, pictures, etc.
• A web site designed for factual information
• A program of study on the topic associated with an institute of higher learning (college, university)

Individual
Each individual must complete a search for the resources, finding five (5) possible sources to be used for the group collection. Each source must be documented in MLA format, with an annotation describing the source and the strengths/weaknesses of it as a resource.
