One piece of information about
modern Celts is that the name at the head of this page
is not proper Welsh,
or any other Celtic language to our knowledge.
The person who gave
it this name (that would be me) has only a
passing acquaintance with the
Welsh language, most of that from songs.
How to say 'The Bards' Guild
of Clan Keltoi' is far beyond my knowledge.
Someone with a much better knowledge
of Welsh
has sent me the proper way to say 'The Bards of the Celts'.
Since we've used 'Y Barddau Keltoi' for two years now, it will probably
remain the name of this site.
But for your (and my!) knowledge, the
name should have been
'Beirdd y Keltoi' (Keltoi for Clan Keltoi) and the
proper way to say Celts in Welsh is 'Celtaidd'.
