I see so many poems written about guys and girls that you once loved or that once loved you, you put all your heart and soul into writting a love poem for someone who most likely will not love you forever and you won't love forever, how about writting one for the one who always has and always will love you. I would just like to say that I think it is great that you have created this webpage where teens can go and voice their thoughts, feelings, and opinions. However; I have read through several of these poems and it seems odd to me that not one out of about 0 that I have read are positive. Life is more than hurt, and pain, and the tortures of a boyfriend or girlfriend dumping you. Life to real, it's amazing, a miracle. Don't get me wrong I know where all of you are coming from; I lost my dad when I was 14 years old and thought that my life as over, but somehow through the grace of God or what ever it is that you believe in I pulled through. Stop dwelling on the negative and start trying to pull the positive things out of life. I know it's hard but the truth of the matter is is that anything that comes too easy isn't truly worth having. Chose to be different. Think Positively!!

Great page- hope to see my poem on here soon! Here's a poem for the road, 'cause I can't submit!! E-mail me when you have it figured out, and visit my page for more. Enjoy!!!! Volcano Mounatins shine, Of barren peaks Above the world, A monster sleeps. A single figure, Rides from afar, Cimbs the peak, beneath the star. She stands at the top, Looking in. At fire and Chaos, hears lost souls' din. She stands atop, Her arms outstretched, her back on the world, From where she was wretched. As she stands up there, She slowly remembers, Forgeting the lava, And it's glowing embers. The hatred, From her parents kind That ruined her soul, Her heart and mind. Weeping now, Of greater sorrow, She remembers her friends, She won't see tomorrow. She is sorry to those, Maybe three that cared, And the sweet guy with whom, Her love never shared. She brings herself back, To where she now stands. On top a volcano, In faraway lands. Suddenly from below, A roaring doth sound. The volcano erupts, Spreads fire all around. A false dawin it makes, On a fake blackened night. A fountain of fire, Of rage with no sight. As she faced the inferno, "Take me!" She cried out, But the roaring grew louder, Swallows her shout. The fire burns all around, Yet she's left alone. It pours down the mountain, Towards others, unknown. I am worthless, she screams. Why not take me? But it just rushes on, Toward the village by the sea. She begins to run, To chase the bright hate But when she arrives, She is already too late. What once was a village, Is now barren ground Innocent lives gone, There isn't a sound. Why were they killed? They had things they had held dear Worth far more than she, With nothing held near. Alone on the seashore, Where Sprits now creep. For what should have been hers, She kneels and weeps.

I didn't write for anybody but myself. One day i was talking with a friend and he found out that i was writing poetry. He asked to see some of it. He read some and said that it was really good. I think there should be more sites like these because poetry is an expression of people's lives and it is good for the soul to allow people to express themselves.
