Save Family Plan

In addition to our work with the tsunami victims in Batticaloa, Sri Lanka, we sponsor a family in India through the Save A Family Plan. Although this plan is through the Catholic Church, you don't have to be Catholic to join.

For $180 Cdn a year, the program not only provides for the basics but also works towards making the family self sufficient.

Like other plans you see advertised on TV, you get letters and a picture from the family. However, because the Catholic church already has a network of churchs and priests in place, there is no administrative costs. That means the entire $180 that you give goes to the family.

You are also given the option of giving gifts at any time.

After reading the letters from our familiy, it's very gratifying to know the difference that we are making with this small gift of money.
