History: the earliest civilization or human settlement in palestine goes back to 30000 years BC with the dawn of the formation of (humo erectus) the erected man the remains of which was found in jabal almaghara in alkarmil mountain,,,moreover the natufian culture (which in archeoelogical term toke its name from wadi natuf north west ramallah(present village shokbah)is a palaeolithic culture preceeded the formation of human settlement in the neolithic era in jericho....this civilization preceeded any kind of religion and formed its own religion (ancestor worship) these people are the ancestors of whom were called after that canninite whose culture dominated till the end of the bronze age 1300 . Iron age: the iron age witnessed two major changes in palestine (which was untill that time it was called [the land of cannan) ,the first change is the coming of the sea people (the philistine) they came from CRETE AND ASIA MINOR . they lived in the coastal area , they gave the new name for the land of cannan (palestine] the important change they heralded in palestine is the IRON AGE because they use iron as the basic metal for tools and weapon. THE COMING OF THE ISREALITE THE INFLATRATION OF THE ISREALITESstarted almost 1150 but they were faced by strong resistence from both the canniniates in the east and the philistines in the west ;eventually they were able to capture jericho and the hilly area ,,killing all living creatures in the city states they capture ,,but still they were not able to control the coastal area because of the strength of the philistines ....the were defeted several times and yossah one of their leaders lost his three sons ..with the coming of king david they defeated the philistines and captured 80% of the present palestine. king salomon made very good relationship with the strong empires around him egyptian, phonecian so as to avoid war and to help him against the philistines ,,but after his death their kingdom disintegrated into what is called the northern and the southern kingdoms which both ended with their destruction by nabokhath nasar almost 450 BC.then persian period....hellenistic....herodian..roman ...byzantine..early islamic....crusader.....late islamic....british occupation;;;;;jordanian domination);;;;;;isreali occupation
