The Young Adults Fellowship (YAF)
of Bible Presbyterian Church of Western Australia (BPCWA) is a fellowship
group to meet the various needs of the young adults in their spiritual
walk with God and their daily life. The Fellowship is being held every
Friday in the BPCWA Church.
Tto find out more about the YAF history, please read the History
page.
Our Objectives
-
To foster a closer relationship between the overseas students and the locals
through caring/loving one another.
-
To build up students for evangelism through God's word.
-
To be grounded in God's Word and to apply it in our daily lives through
wholesome Christian activities.
-
To encourage young adults to be committed to the ministry and life of the
Church through active participation.
Our Activities
Activities in YAF varied and they
include a monthly Bible Study, exhortations, prayer meetings, messages
on different topics, discussion on relevant and interesting topics, songs
and testimony sharing, video watching on relevant Christian issues, and
many more. A Winter camp is being held in July each year to build up young
adults in their faith in the Lord Jesus and to help foster closer relationship
among the YAF members.
Our Beliefs
YAF believes Jesus Christ to be the Son of God who came to this world
to save his people from their sins. The Lord's redemptive purpose was accomplished
by dying on the cross, thereby satisfying God's wrath against sinners.
All those who through faith receive Jesus Christ as their Savior, receive
the forgiveness of sins and the promise of eternal life.
