In 1981, the Postgraduate Study was offered in Brawijaya University in form of joint programme with Gadjah Mada University - Yogyakarta. Since 1993, the Postgraduate Study at Brawijaya University is fully maintained by the University self. The degree to be offered is Master Degree with following fields:

Requirements for Postgraduate Students.
An appropriate undergraduate study background and minimum academic score of 2.75 from maximum 4, (or 6.25 from maximum 10).
