David Crider is the owner and operator of Windmaster's Hill Farm located in Lillington, NC. His main profession is as a general contractor, but his main passion is horses. He especially enjoys working with the larger breeds that were bred during the middle ages as warhorses for medieval knights.
David's other main interest is helping disabled children share his passion of horses. He has done this by maintaining horses and riding rings specifically designed to accomodate children with a wide range of physical disabilities.
Several years ago obstacles arose that placed serious limitations on David being able to continue both his passions. But ever inovative (and a bit daring), he decided to fight his way through them -- literally! Thus was born the Knights of Windmaster's Hill (who joined the Order of St. Anthony).
Through this organization, David is able to continue keeping and training large warhorses and is expanding on his passion by becoming a medieval knight and doing FULL CONTACT JOUSTING! Furthermore, by performing around the southeast for the pleasure of many, he is able to raise money to not only continue providing facilities for disable children but to do performances specifically tailored to their requirements and support other riding rings for disabled children.
