About me!

I was born in Crete, an island of Greece, in 1971.
I lived in Iraklion until 1989. Then I moved to Athens to study Dentistry at Athens University.
Graduated in 1995 and soon after that, I joined the Greek Army where I spent 18 unforgettable months! (Millitary service is mandatory in Greece)

On June 2000 I completed my three-year specialty training in Periodontology at UCONN Health Center, Dental School, Connecticut, USA. .
Five months later I received the Masters in Dental Science degree (MDSc.).





Since 2001 I am working in my private periodontal practice, in Iraklion, Greece. My job is mainly gum treatment and placing dental implants for missing teeth.





...and some of my Hobbies-Interests

  • Sailing along the Aegean Sea ...following ancient trails
  • Climbing. Learn about the Mountaineering Club of Iraklion
  • Currently holding a green belt in Tae Kwon Do...but I prefer jogging and horseback riding.




  • Since July '94, I have been a certified baywatch instructor
  • Last but not least, I often go underwater fishing or "psarontoufeko" in greek!!
