Background

I was born in Toronto Ontario and  I was raised in a very small country town north of there called Bolton.

My Mother was born and raised in Hollywood California (she even attended Hollywood High School).  She later became a Flight Attendant for Trans Canada Airlines (now Air Canada).

My Father was a  Jet Fighter Pilot in the Royal Canadian Air Force, a cowboy, and he even fancied himself to be part Indian - Ojibway I think.

Growing up, those interesting facts about my parents made them both seem very glamorous. 

My brother and I having to help Dad chop, gather, and pile massive amounts of firewood every Fall, and finding too many of our pet dogs dead by the side of the road are a few of the ones that really sucked. .
