Capes Family
I have researched the Capes line back to Henry Capes, a labourer in
Castle Acre, Norfolk, who was born ca. 1776 in Norfolk, England. As far as we
have been able to ascertain, Henry was married twice: Murrell (aka Ann)
Walker and Mary Fleet, born Green. Henry died before the 1851 so I
do not know his place of birth; his father's name was also Henry.
