THE NO NAME COMPUTER CLUB-- About seven years ago a group of eight people, based on their common interest in computers and their desire to share their knowledge and experiences, began meeting together for that purpose. Word got around and the membership began increasing rapidly. When they could not agree on a name for the group they decided simply to call it THE NO NAME COMPUTER CLUB. The No Name Computer Club (NNCC) is exactly that: a computer club with no name. It also has no officers. It does not charge any dues.IT IS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION. At the present time the NNCC boasts of about 90 members, ranging in computer skills from rank beginners to several experts. Our members come from Georgia, North Carolina, and Tennessee. New members are always welcome, as are visitors who just want to find out what's happening. The NNCC meets at the New York Cafe, Copperhill, Tennessee on the second Wednesday of each month, year-round. The next meeting will be Wednesday, November 13, 2002. The agenda for the program will be announced with the call message. Meetings begin promptly at 7:00 P.M. and end promptly at 8:00 P.M. The order of business is anything that has to do with computers. We occasionaly have guest speakers; more often an open forum in the form of Questions and Answers. Always some members arrive early - between 5:30 P.M. and 6:15 P.M. - to have dinner together. The NNCC breakfast club meets daily at Copperhill's New York Cafe between about 9:15 A.M. and 10:30 A.M. Monday-Saturday, except Wednesdays when we meet at the Soulshine in Copperhill. All welcome(should buy at least a cup of coffee).
