As we click our way through the wonderful internet, there are some programs that really enhance our experience. I have included some of my favorites below.

Microsoft Netmeeting- This program enables you to have conferences that include audio and video. Check it out!

ICQ- One of the best programs on the net today! Find out when your friends are online, send them messages,chat with them, etc.

mIRC- This is a program for all you serious chatters. Communicate with people all over the world through the channels.

The Real Player- Watch short films, listen to live broadcasts of sporting events, concerts, talk shows, musical programs, and much more!

Excite Chat- Another program for chatoholics! This is sort of like chat on AOL, but better. One can go on tours with many people and visit different URLs, for example.

Powwow- This is somewhat like netmeeting, but better. One can send live sounds while in a conference, go on tours, and much more.

Now if you love to keep abreast of the news (like I do), you will love the next two programs.

Pointcast- This gives you the latest news in the US and around the world.

CNN's Pager- CNN will page you and give you updates every 30 minutes on the major stories in the news.
