Rabbi Suskin has assisted many families and individuals in moving through difficult times in their lives. Since serving as mashgichat mikveh in Los Angeles, she has had the privelege of assisting women in marking and moving beyond traumatic events in their lives, celebrating survival and upcoming joyous events and struggling with infertility and life changes. She has created and assisted in rituals for the mikveh such as celebrating years free from cancer or overcoming sexual trauma.
She has counseled individuals and families to mend relationships, prepare for marriage, and struggle with loss. She has also served as a philosophical counselor for people struggling with existential questions, such as "Why am I here? What gives life meaning?"
All Jews have the capacity to make the connection to the Holy within themselves. She has had the privelege of assisting those who wish to find the tools to carve out their own spiritual discipline through the traditions and laws of our people. She is committed to bringing spiritual and communal transformation and a path toward justice through the tradition to all Jews.
