Welcome to a page devoted to family and home. My two beautiful children are here, as well as photos of the farm where i grew up, and my dad. Enjoy.
Mark Francis, turned 17 on October 14. A Junior at Creighton Prep High School in Omaha, he's a whiz in Math, Spanish  and an addictive computer game called "Diablo."
Joyce Emily is 14 1/2 years old. Her birthday is March 23, and she's a freshman at Skutt Catholic. She lives for local indi music. Wonder where that came from? *smile*
This is me, taken about seven years ago, sigh.
I'll keep it up here to remind myself that I once was young, too. Even if I am old and feeble now!
These are pictures of the farm, the
Des Moines River nearby both from June 2000, and the farm in winter, 2000-2001 shortly after we suddenly lost Dad at Christmas. Life is peculiar sometimes, but we keep smiling and move on.
Farm update: In Mid June 2003, we moved Mom...to town, and she sold the acreage where my father and my sisters and I all grew up. New owners, city folk from Chicago, have been burning and tearing down buildings as fast as you can say: historic property? The building on the left was one of the first to be burned to ground.

Memories remain.
Kathleen Mary Callahan married
Edward Peter Fitzgerald, and produced a first born son,  Eugene Francis Fitzgerald, on April 21, 1931.  There he is, front and center.....my dad!

He passed away on December 26, 2000. God rest his sweet soul, and thanks for the curiosity and desire for learning he shared with me.
