The following archives consist of 11 sets of files (Archive 1 - Archive 11). Each one of these sets of files contains compressed versions of parts of this web site.
If you download and un-compress all these files, you'll have a copy of this web site's content on the hard drive of your own computer (PC or Mac). You'll have to download all 11 archives in order to browse through all the web site.
To save disk space and download time, each of these archives has been compressed. Each one of these compressed archives (except for archives 8-11, but the content of those 4 archives is available in shorter version on other pages) is small enough to save to a regular disk to give to interested people who don't have Internet access. If these people have an Internet browser installed on their computer, they will be able to read the site content by decompressing the files from the regular disks, and then accessing the files through their browser.
Please be careful to save your downloaded archives in a special folder (such as "EV Papers") before you un-compress them. These archives contain hundreds of files that might get scattered in other folders if you don't create a folder for this very purpose. Please un-compress them all in the same folder, otherwise you won't be able to browse freely through the different pages. If you download updates, or the French part of this website, you will also have to un-compress those archives in the same folder.
To un-compress these archive files, use PKZIP, WinZip, or any other software which allows you to un-compress files or, if you're using a Macintosh, simply double-click on the archive.
Download the latest version of WinZip on the WinZip Website.
In case one of the downloaded archives can't be un-compressed and seems to be corrupted, download again the faulty archive. They've all been checked and none of the originals is faulty.
After you have un-compressed the archives, you can select the file that you want to read by clicking on "File" (on your browser's menu bar), and then clicking on "Open File in Browser". You'll have to open the file named "index.html" to be able to browse freely through all the web site's content.
If any links inside the un-compressed pages appear to not be working, this is because they are links to pages that are not part of this website.
As this website is regularly updated, updates will be available for download.
