President's Day Weekend 2003

I went with Jennifer and Gina to visit Jen's sister Bethany at the University of Illinois (Urbana/Champaign). HOWEVER, due to snow, we were not able to leave until Sunday! So most of the pictures are from playing with the puppies at Gina's house right here in the Chicago area.

Me, Bethany Reynolds, Gina Reynolds, and Jennifer Reynolds. (Wow, now don't I feel outnumbered?) Only 2 of those 3 are related and I'll let you figure it out. Ah, I already said above, but try figuring it out anyway.

Four adorable puppies! So young and precious that they couldn't even open their eyes or walk yet. My favorite was Gregory. Another one Jen named Melchiezedek. And a similar puppy from another litter, Gina named Agammemnon. But we can call them Chizzy and Aggie for short.

Gina, Jen, and I with the four puppies. Their mom was probably wondering where her family had gone right about now. Have you ever learned what a dog mother does for her puppies? I learned this firsthand that weekend. Ummm... yeah.

Jen and I with our puppies (if only we could take them home).

Jen loves this picture - don't ask me why.

Driving along back to Chicago.

Jen and I. Good, good friends. She is good to me, even though I'm... yeah, I've been a bad friend a lot. I am thankful for Jen.

Gina's hidden talent: balancing steaming hot drinks on her head. Wow.
