Life in Kwun Tong Maryknoll College (KTMC):
Form 4 and 5:
I was studying in a Science Class (F.4A and F.5A). And I had to study 9 subjects, they are:
Eng, Chi, Maths, A.Maths, Phy, Chem, Bio, PA and Econ.
I liked this combination of these subject, and I liked this school policy most, as it provided us the chance to learn both arts and science in cert. level. It is good for me, as I don't know which subjects I were really interested in, at that time.
Form 6 and 7:
After the HKCEE, i chosen to study in Art Class (F.6A and F.7A). And the following are the courses that i took in these years:
And i had many happy memory from these two years:
Principles of Accounts:
We had changed 3 teachers in 2 yrs, so GREAT!
One of the teachers let me know how a very very poor teacher was! He even didn't know what he was teaching! However, he made (or FORCE) us work more hard (by studying outside..hahaha...) and get excellent results in AL!!!
Economics:
We always change our seats from class to class, or even link all the desks into a line /circle/square!!! Also the teacher is very nice and encourage us to think!
Use of English:
Practice, Practice and Practice...
Chinese Language and Culture:
The most interesting class in KTMC, and the most frightening too!
Each class, i have about over 25% to be asked by the teacher--Mr Leung. Of course, i couldn't answer most of his question correctly and "played/ inched" by him everytime! Hee...Hee...
But i am luckier than the 2 girls in the class, as they had the probability of 50% to 100% being asked by Leung Sir!!!
But, sometimes, it is very interesting to see someone (Of course NOT me!) being played by Leung Sir....
Extra-curricular activities:
Form 4:
Vice-chairperson of Endurance House (E House ¼ÝªÀ )
This was the first time that I participated in the house organization. It was quite challenging at first and everything was new to us (the executive committee members), such as producing banners, thinking some slogan, organizing a choir, arranging the Inter-house Competition, etc. We had spent much time on the house affairs, esp during the Swimming Gala and Sports Day. Anyway, it was a enjoyable expereince as i made more friends from it. | ³o¤é¥¿¬O§Ú¦aªº³°¹B·|, §ÚÌ¥¿·Ç³Æ°Õ°Õ¶¤ªº¤u§@. ¦Ó³Ì¯S§Oªº¬O§Ú¦a¬JªÀªºÃC¦â¥Ñ°Ø¦âÂର¾í¦â. ¨ä¹ê, °Ø¦â¯u¬O¤Q¤À"¨I", ¦n¦b§Ú¦aÂ४ªÀªºÃC¦â, §_«h«K n°µ¤@¨Ç°Ø¦âªºbanner,ºX¥J... |
Editor of School Yearbook (School Administration)
At the same year, i was also an editor of the School Yearbook. But at that time, i only did some basic tasks and not very active in that post. hee hee...But i chosed to be editor when i was in F.6 because....see below lar...
Form 6:
Editor of School Yearbook (again, in School Administration)
I became an editor again because i had asked many friends to join in...hahaha..they are Gary Wong, Bobby Wong and Fat Kam...
All them are very helful and active in providing ideas! Actually, they are very CREATIVE! ( Sorry to Gary here again that i had put his HKCEE result slip on to the School Yearbook!). Also, at that time, we could express our ideas freely because there is no teacher in-charge-of that part!
Also, thanks to Mr Fung Hing Wah for giving us the chance to edit the School Yearbook! (although i spelt the name of our Supervisor wrongly!)
Vice-Chairperson of Students' Guidance Service Group
The main task of this group is to run the "Big Brothers" program.
Some of the forms 4 and 6 students are invited to act as Big Brothers to assist the Form1 students to adapt the new school life.
Of course, i was a big brother and responsible to give regular tutorial to 2 Form 1 students. Besides, the whole executive committee had decided many activities during the program, such as, Day-camp, Campus BBQ, some ball games and chess games.
Apart from helping the Form 1 students, i also learnt a lot from the program and developed a friendship with the committee memebers. Also, the group provided us to have the chance to meet the school social worker....hahaha...i think most of the KTMC students never meet her.
