Chimu, the Art of Gold and the Mud

 The Chimú culture was in the Moche valley in "La Libertad", it was the most more powerful state in Peru long time ago.This empire measured 1000 km from Tumbes in the north to Carabayllo in Lima by the south.They subjugated the Lambayeque culture, whose dynasty was founded by the mythical king Naylamp. The Chimu build up Chan-Chan, the biggest city of mud of the world.

 The monarchy established a very rigid system of classes were the governors were demigods.When a king died his body was dressed with artifacts made of gold, that's why this was their more advanced art.The end of these culture come when facing the empire Inca between 1462 to 1466.The Inca got Chan-Chan and enslave the people.
