Chan-Chan

Chan-Chan The valley where these ruins are located, was called before Chimor or Chimu.Nowadays this place is called Moche valley, close to Trujillo in the part the northwest of the Perú.Chan-Chan was the capital city of the Chimu Empire,and each Chimu ruler lived there until the Inca defeat Chimo Capac in the XV century


 The walls of this city of mud has murals and decorations in relief.These decorations are geometric shapes,animals and mythologic beings.


 The ruins include houses, deposits, factories, labyrinths, walls, excellent ways and pyramid-like temples.There are some palaces too, and each one was used by a Chimu ruler.This gigantic city of mud has been declared by UNESCO as Cultural Patrimony of the Humanity.
