| Two main towns and lots of rural areas make up Yorkwood High School located in rural route Monmouth, Illinois. In this small school environment most students find it easier to concentrate on education with the help of our FacultyandAdministration. We have many Activities at our school including Sports such as Basketball, Football, Track, and Volleyball. Besides sports there are many clubs and organizations that take place in our school, which include Band, Speech Team, FHA, FFA, Scholastic Bowl, National Honor Society, Spanish Club, Student Council, Yearbook, and Drama Club(there are many more but it is impossible to list all of them). The day starts at 8:15 when the first bell rings and it ends at 3:15 when the last bell rings. Our building is unique because it contains 7th graders through the high school levels, Freshmen, Sophmores, Juniors, and Seniors. |
