CHURCH OF SKY

Why is Everything in the World So Mean?

On my flowers are grubs that munch 'em
And above the grubs are birds that crunch 'em
Why is everything in the world so mean?
Because it is a growth machine.

It's sorry to be what others sup
But that doesn't mean the world's mixed up
Death makes room for changing life
The strong grow stronger because of strife.

And yet though we may discern a trend
Only the Creator knows the end.

And only the Creator makes it.
