Magnetic Poetry

My great accomplishments with the Magnetic Poetry Kit

None of these works have titles. I'm not good at nameing the things I do. Just read and enjoy. Magnetic Poetry is a little more challenging than regular poetry. When you work with just a pen and paper the word you need is there, you just write it down. With the Magnetic Poetry Kit, if you can't find the word you are thinking of, you have to make-do with something else. Very tricky. Well, here is what I wrote, I hope you like it. (and there will be more in the future, I'm sure...)

Written Dec 18,1996
Summer is a sweet vision of a delicate garden
rain is my gift of life spraying dreams
into a symphony of repulsive shadows
I felt a lovely goddess near my head in a white gown
chanting at the moon
worshiping the mother of the forest
when she is with me I never cry
please show me why one woman must scream madly
as if none could see her aching
together friends sit and watch her stare
sadly at the sky
She has gone away from them

Stuff below written in 1997 not sure exact dates

She was repulsive in her vision
always dreaming of beauty
screaming deliriously to the goddess
she worshiped to take away the ache
why am I ugly asked the girl
I want to be gorgeous

He sits with his woman
beneath a garden of roses
sunlight played through her hair
wind in the petals whispering
delicately to these lovers
together they soar above the sky
sweetness floods from them
like cool blue water

Music produces enormous shadows
with power for beating you raw
lie still and it will stop
what did man do when he put it here

You want me
I want you
What is stopping you?
Rip my dress
Crush my heaving breasts
Whisper to me lover
...Lie still and I will

Do not drive me away
He ached to lick her luscious pink tongue
to have her scream for him
He wanted to please her
He moaned for his woman
She needed to be taken
I am here the girl said
I need you

He screamed for her
Beneath the black sky
It hit him
How could she want me
I am repulsive to you
You will never want me
I may not have you

Death wants to take our lives
His raw power is crushing
Life is gone
He has my friend
What to do

Run away
Lie still
Whisper to me
I want to have you
You may not
I will never want you

That is all that I have so far, there was more but the words were moved before I could write them down. Sometimes it was just a line like "death chants for you" or "I need to smear wax under my head" When friends come over, I've noticed that "sausage" is the most frequently used word. Perhaps as time passes I'll have a Magnetic Poetry hall of fame. But for now, you'll have to live with what is here. Thanks for reading!

If you have a Magnetic Poetry Kit and have some great creations you want me to put on this page, send them to me at the address below and I'll include them on my page of poetry by my friends!
