Toastmasters was founded more than 70 years ago to help men and women learn the arts of speaking listening, and thinking. These skills enhance self development & leadership qualities, foster human understanding, and contribute to the betterment of mankind.

The Dragon Toastmasters provides a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every member has the opportunity to develop communication and leadership skills.

At each Dragon Toastmasters meeting there are positions which have been assigned to members. Some of these positions require considerable skill while others can be filled by new members while they learn about Toastmasters. Learning is accomplished by doing in a supportive environment where feedback is encouraging and suggestions are only for improvement.

After all, the goal of the Dragon Toastmasters Club is to provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every member has the opportunity to develop communication and leadership skills, which in turn foster self-confidence and personal growth!
