The Wheel of Mante

Mante was a Priestess of Thebes, daughter of Theban sage Teiresias. Her name means "Prophetess" or "One Inspired by the Moon".  The Mantes were oracular clans who were believed to take on the form of a preying mantis between incarnations.  The mantis is an apt symbol for the clans as it represent female power and the original Mante clans were all female.  Over time males joined these clans but often dressed as females and, in some cases, were self-castrated.  The Wheel of Mante has both female and male members from neophyte to Priestess/Priest levels or degrees.

The Wheel of Mante is a collective of people who have formed to practice the arts of magick and ritual for the purpose of healing. When we speak of healing we mean establishing balance in an otherwise out of balance body...be it a person, a group, a society or the planet.  We utilize many forms of prayer, ritual, dreamwork and spellcraft to help achieve balance and harmony.

We are currently accepting requests for healing via email.  If you would like to submit a request please email us and give a detailed description of the problem you are seeking a solution of balance for as well as a return email address where we can contact you if necessary.  All submissions will be seriously considered, however, not all email will be answered.  If we feel that the query is frivolous, in jest or in any way without merit, we will not respond.  You may send your requests or questions to:
