This is the page that I will be updating frequently. Let me know if you have anything in particular in mind and I will see if I can get it for you. Enjoy!
The song is I LIKE TO TAKE A TEST! and the classes in my school have been inventing excuses to link it thematically to whatever else is going on at the time in our regularly scheduled assembly programs.
For example, a third grade teacher recently had her class sing A MIGHTY MAN in anticipation of MLK day and had one of her students read a brief statement about what a great student Martin Luther King was and how he loved taking tests. Then I popped in the cassette I'd made off my Mac's earphone jack and zingo we were off.
Here are the words to the song: TAKE A TEST!
TAKE A TEST! I like to take a test I like when they ask me Can you do it? I like to take a test I always put my best into it I like to shine and show How sure I am of what I know I like to take a test It helps…me…grow I like to take a test I like when they ask me Can you do it? I like to take a test I always put my best into it I like to feel so bright ‘Though I may not get Every answer right I like to take a test With all…my…might I like to take a test I like when they ask me Can you do it? I like to take a test I always put my best into it I like to write on paper Or show just how fast I can run I like to take a test It’s so…much…fun ! I'll try to get a MIDI file up and available for this song as soon as I can. In the mean time, if you need a copy I can always try to email it to you or send you a GIF picture of the score.

If you use any of my midi files for your classroom or otherwise, I would really like to hear from you. My creating the files is a labor of love, but it's nice to know if you think they can be improved or what your experience was when you used them for your event. Consider that, as "payment" for the use of them.
Speaking of labors of love I have been waiting for a long time to acknowledge my great debt to Deborah Jeter for doing the great majority of the work on this site. Now that she has started helping me acquire my own web creator's wings I can finally get around the Catch 22 situation that prevented me from being able to give Deborah a little credit for all she's been doing and publicly say, THANK YOU!
