I am FourMagick and I welcome you. I am a White Witch. I have been
following this path for many, many years. Long before it was "cool"
to tell people you were a "Witch or Wiccan". The word
"Wicca" was pretty new too and not mainstream like it is today.
I am old fashioned however, and there were no computers
so you actually had to make a very CLEAR effort to even
find books on the subject which were not hokey. Honest truths
were not easy to come by back in the early 60's. (Even if it was
the Age of Aquarius.) lol. This is my opinion
of the ways of the craft. I hope you will
see by the content that pagans, witches and wiccans are
real people who do NOT worship satan, the devil, or hell
which is the most common preconceived notion of who
and what we are.
Much like Native Americans, Buddhists, Jews,
Christians, Hindus, etc., we all believe in a higher
spirit. We just follow a different path.
If you read nothing else, I hope you will go to "Never
Ever Again". I think it will help you understand the
religious persecution that we, as practioners of the
craft, must deal with.
I am married to the most wonderful man and have two
precious sons. My families beliefs are very
deversified. We have two Roman Catholics, One
practicing and one nonpracticing. There is one
who believes in a Higher Power, but follows no
particular path. And then there is me *S*.
We are a very close, loving and nonjudgemental family
There are some poems I wrote and some from
friends and visitors. Also included are
excerpts from my Book of Shadows.
There were no "authors" to the writings,
when I loving copied them into my book from anothers.
So forgive me if I did not include people's names
They weren't there. It was an unwritten law.
You will also find webrings, great links to other sites, blessings,
memberships, awards this site has received and
awards this site gives. There is also a small
collection of books I recommend and a place to order
them. So kick back, relax and rest a spell.
It does not matter what faith you practice for everyone
with a good heart is welcome here.
