Was Mary Truly The Mother Of God? Absolutely Not!

1. As to the writers belief and doctrine, we are strictly Biblical! We adhere to no denominational beliefs unless what they teach is taken from the true Word of God and taught in the correct context. We believe that we are to be busy proclaiming the truths for the present age of grace, in view of the soon coming of our Lord.

If the readers desire to have a part in the Lord's work as soul workers, it would be great for them to begin their own tract ministry by down loading our messages and send or give copies to others. What could be more important for you as an ambassador for Christ than to support the Body of Christ in this way? The messages are already written, so why not pass them on to others? {See 2- Corinthians 5:17-21}.

2. The reader will notice that we have put words in parenthesis in the various Bible verses, this is done to help the student have a better understanding of the old King James language which is often a little bewildering to some folks who are not use to that kind of speech. Therefore, please bear with us as we teach the message. A good idea would be to read your Bible along with each verse we have quoted. It is also very important for the student to look up all the added Bible texts that we have referred to in the Message. This will give the reader much added information!

Another thing we should mention is that when we copy a verse from the Bible we will change much of the spelling from the archaic king James language to the modern way of spelling, such as ... "searcheth to searches, thy to your, standeth to stands, knoweth to knows, maketh to makes, nay to no, bringeth to bring or brings, hath to has or have, saith to says, doeth to does, wherefore to therefore, thee to the, justifieth to justify, helpeth to help, liveth to lives, ever to always and etc."

None of this will take away from the true meaning of the original text.

=======================

3. That most dramatic moment in the history of the human race was the virgin birth of Jesus Christ. Scripture ...

4. {V. 5} "Therefore when He came into the world [as a tiny baby], He said, Sacrifice and offering you would not, but a body have you prepared Me [to offer. In other words, God the Father prepared a Human body for Jehovah [Jesus] while on this earth until it was offered as a sacrifice on the cross].

5. {V. 6} In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin You have had no pleasure.

6. {V. 7} Then said I, Lo [here I am], I come [in the volume of the Bible "Which " it is written of Me,] to do your will, O God, {Hebrews 10:5-7}." {See John 19:30; 1- Timothy 2:6; Hebrews 1:3; - & - 2- Corinthians 2:14}.

7. No where in history except in the Holy Bible can proof be found where a new born baby conversed with God the Father or to any one else... at the moment of His birth? Long before time began, the event was marked on the Divine timetable. In {Psalm 40:6-8}, we find the prophet writing the very words that are spoken in the above 3 verses, that Jesus in the future as a baby, would be saying to God the Father from His manger cradle.

8. {V. 7} is a startling revelation, the Spirit of God acquainting us with what transpired between the Father and the Son. Christ comes into the world to do God's eternal will. He is the Son of God from all eternity. In that mysterious eternity before the creation of the world, in His pre-mundane glory, this mind was in Christ the Son, that He would humble Himself, and take upon Himself the form of a servant, and obey the counsel of God concerning the redemption of fallen man. Christ's whole life on earth, embracing His obedience and His death, His substitution for sinners, was His own voluntary resolve and act.

9. True, the Father sent Him; but such is the unity and harmony of the blessed Trinity, that it is equally true to say, the Son came. The love of the Lord Jesus, the sacrifice of Himself in our stead, the unspeakable humiliation of the Son of God, have their origin not in time but in eternity, in the infinite, self-subsistent, co-equal Son of the Father. He took on Himself our nature. Of course, we are not speaking of our old sin nature but of the natural nature of man. By His own will He was made flesh. From all eternity He offered Himself to accomplish the Divine will concerning our salvation. He had to be God to have the power of freely offering Himself. He had to be God to take upon Himself our nature to fulfill that sacrifice. Only God the Son could undertake the work of our redemption; only as a man could He accomplish it.

10. In {V. 5} He said "a body have You prepared for Me." As we have said, this is speaking of His human body from the virgin birth. The body the Son of God took on was a prepared body, called into existence by a creative act of the Holy Spirit {See Luke 1:35}. The sentence: "a body have You prepared for Me" is the Septuagint translation, or paraphrase, of the Hebrew, "ears have You digged for Me" {Psalm 40:6.} This reading, or interpretation, is here fully sanctioned by the Holy Spirit. The ear is for learning and the opened ear stands for obedience {See Isaiah 1:5}. In taking on the human body He took the form of a servant {See Exodus Ch. 21 concerning servitude}. And thus He offered Himself, as one who had the power to do so, out of the glory of God, to do His will. He undertook of His own free will the accomplishment of all the will of God and He took on the prepared body in incarnation in order to accomplish the eternal will of God.

11. The will of God the Father was for the eternal Son of God to become true humanity that He might die on the cross of Calvary and bear the past, present and future sins of all humanity in His body {See 1- Peter 2:24; & Colossians 2:13-15}. As the baby in the cradle, He was as helpless as any other baby; as eternal God, He existed from eternity past. Scripture ...

12. "In the beginning [which was not a beginning ... i.e., eternity past] was the Word [Logos ... Jesus Christ]; the Word was [face to face] with God [the Father]; the Word [Christ] was God. The same was in the beginning [eternity past] with God {John 1:1-2}."

13. The word "Logos" is a title for Jesus Christ as God whom has existed throughout eternity past. As the Logos, He put order and design in the plan of the Trinitarian God. He is the revealed and visible second Member of the Godhead in His humanity. Throughout His earthly ministry and Divine doctrine He expressed the thoughts and the will of God {See 1- Corinthians 2:16}. In Christ's Humanity Jesus made possible His plan of salvation for all mankind. His birth in no way diminished His Deity or His equality with the other two parts of the Godhead ... The Father and the Spirit {See Matthew 28:19}. The whole trouble was, that God in Spirit form, could not die physically in order to redeem mankind!

14. As any Godly born again Christian knows, Christ is God. He is not only the Lord of our lives, but He is the Sovereign Creator of the universe! Being God, there was no way for His body to ever see death. Jesus was present in all eternity past, and because of His Deity, He will remain as the Lord of Lords forever in the future and will forever be unchangeable! As we have often stated, Christ, being God, in His omnipresence, cannot dwell in one place. If He was a common man, He would be limited to one place at a time. Since He is Deity, He has no limitations!

15. We, in other messages, have stated that ... Adam when created, was created as a perfect man with a nature that was completely sinless. Thus, when Adam took of the fruit of the tree of good and evil, an old sin nature entered into Adam. This old sin nature was a nature that man inherited and which was passed on down from generation to generation, and will be with mankind until the present earth is purged and cleansed from all sin with fire!

16. Therefore, since Adam, the perfect man, knowingly, took on sin, only another perfect man could pay the penalty for that sin. The question was, "where could such a man be found to meet that challenge? Not one single man except Jesus Christ, that has ever been born to this very day, has been born without the old inherited sin nature! " According to this then, eventually a man must come on the scene being as perfect as Adam when Adam was first created by God! Thus, it would be an essential fact that there would be no way for mankind to ever receive Salvation from sin, other than a virgin birth. A baby would have to be born with a sinless nature and without a human father, otherwise, all human fathers would naturally pass on the old sin nature just as before. The Triune Godhead was well aware of this problem. Therefore, Christ the Creator of all matter solved the problem by voluntarily allowing Himself to be submerged by God the Holy Spirit into the womb of a young virgin! Only God Himself could perform such a miracle.

17. From now on there would be a God man present, not only on the earth but after His death, also in the Heavenlies and forever! Henceforth, human kind could now receive Salvation through the perfect Man Jesus Christ Who is called the second Adam! Everything concerning Salvation is fully dependent on the virgin birth that was accomplished 2000 years ago. Before Adam sinned he was a perfect man. After Adam had sinned, Jehovah God Himself who was Jesus Christ in the O. T. voluntarily consented to be placed into the womb of Mary as the Christ Child. Thus, Christ, Who was in perfection, that is, He was completely without sin both in Deity and in human form. He was born in perfection. Therefore, in His perfection, He was the perfect Man that would die for the sins of all mankind who would otherwise remain in a lost condition, because all humans after Adam's sin had inherited sin from Adam when he fell from grace.

18. At His birth, Jesus Christ spoke to God the Father to reaffirm His own willingness to take on Himself the penalty of sin belonging to you and to me. You see, none of the sacrifices and offerings of the Old Testament could satisfy [propitiate] the Father since they were merely shadows of the reality to come. "In the volume of the book [Bible] it is written of Me" refers to the Old Testament. For example, Isaiah understood and prophesied the virgin birth of this unique Person of the universe. Scripture:

19. "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulder: and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace {Isaiah 9:6}." {See also John 10:30}: Jesus and the Father are One.

20. "A Child is born" which is the Hebrew word for a new born baby. The wording here is very precise. This Baby made of flesh, blood and bone was speaking of Christ's humanity; "a Son is given" speaks of an adult Son. And then, of course we have the Son's Deity. Again we repeat, at His virgin birth, Christ became the God-Man Who was absolute undiminished Deity and true humanity in one Person forever!

21. {V. 6} Scripture "And again, when He [God the Father] brought in the Firstbegotten [Son Jesus Christ] into the [habitable] world, He said, And let all the angels of [the triune] God worship Him.

22. {V. 7} And of the angels He said, Who makes His angels spirits, and His ministers [ministering servants] a flame of fire. {See Psalm 104:4}.

23. {V. 8} But to [Christ] the Son He said, Your throne O God, is for ever and ever: a scepter of [absolute] righteousness is the scepter of the [future] kingdom [of Heaven, of one thousand years, and forever, that You will rule over on this earth and also on the new earth].

24. {V. 9} You [Christ, God the Son, before His Virgin birth,] have loved righteousness [past tense, and as a Son, was faithful over the Father's house. As a Son and master of God's creation], and [He] hated iniquity [sin]; therefore God [the Father in Heaven, Who was God over Christ as long as Christ had a human body upon the earth], even Your God [the Father & Holy Spirit], has anointed You with the oil [of the indwelling - & - filling of the Holy Spirit,] of gladness above Your fellows [companions]. {See Psalm 45:6-7}.

25. {V. 10} And [further -more], You, Lord [Jesus], in the Beginning [in eternity past,] have laid the foundation of the earth; and the Heavens are the work of Your hands:

26. {V. 11} They shall perish; but You [will] remain [permanently forever as the same God]; and they all shall wax [grow] old [and wear out] as does a garment;

27. {V. 12} And as a vesture [garment] shall You fold them up, they shall be changed [purged, and be replaced by others]: but You are [and will remain] the same, and Your years shall not fail {Hebrews 1:6-12}." {Read Psalm 102:25-17}. Scripture...

28. "Therefore he said, Awake you that sleeps, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give you light [understanding] {Ephesians 5:14}." {See Isaiah 60:1-2}.

29. There was, and is, no possible way to ever have another person like the Lord Jesus come into existence. He is different from God the Father Who is spirit, but Jesus is both God and Man born in human flesh. Jesus was different from the Holy Spirit naturally, because of His humanity, and because He could partake of death on the cross. Because Jesus was God Himself, this caused Him to be much different from all the rest of the human race.

30. When {v. 9} above speaks of "The government being on His shoulder" it was referring to the dispensation that was present on earth at the time of His birth. In the near future Jesus, as we have pointed out many times before, will reign upon this earth for a literal thousand years which is called a "Millennium." At that time He will have a title which will be called "Wonderful - Counselor," which is a reference to His future administration on this earth.

31. As we know Him at this very time, we will know Him in the future, forever. We will call Him "The mighty, "Omniscience, ... all knowing;" ... "Omnipresence, ... meaning, all things are in His presence; " ... "Omnipotent, ... meaning that He as God is Immutable, ... He can accomplish what ever He wishes whether it concerns nature and energy, and He will never need any rest from His labor."

32. God will be called all of this, in many different ways. Everything above speaks of Jesus as the King of Kings, with power and Majesty to rule as the eternal Father. Or literally, as "the Father of Eternity and the Prince of Peace." He will be the source of eternal life in the Heavenlies! Scripture ...

33. "Saying, We give You thanks, O Lord [Omnipotent] God Almighty, which are [at the present time], and was [from eternity past], and are to come [at Your Second Coming]; because You have taken to You Your great power, and have reigned {Revelation 11:17}." [Christ at various times is designated throughout the Bible as the "Lord of Hosts ]." The prophet Isaiah speaking to the Nation of Israel, stated, Scripture...

34. "Except the Lord of Hosts had left unto us a very small remnant, we should have been as Sodom, and we should have been like unto Gomor'rah {Isaiah 1:9}." {See Romans 9:29}. Scripture ...

35. The Lord Jehovah also was a mighty warrior who fought against a huge host of the enemies of Israel {See Joshua 10:14; - & - Zechariah 14:3}.

36. And of course, He was the Prince of peace as stated above in {Isaiah 9:6}. The barrier that was raised at the very beginning of human history because of Adam's sin, was between man and the Lord until Jesus removed it forever with His crucifixion on the cross. Because of that barrier, in order to save man from his sins, the virgin birth became an absolute necessity! Scripture ...

37. {V. 1} "Therefore [since we] being justified [acquitted, declared righteous, and given a right standing with God] by faith, [let us grasp the fact that] we have [the peace of reconciliation to hold and to enjoy], peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ [the Messiah, the Anointed One]:

38. {V. 2} By whom [and through Him] also we have [our] access [entrance, introduction] by faith into this grace [state of God's favor] wherein we [firmly and safely] stand, and [let us] rejoice [and exult] in [our] hope of [experiencing and enjoying] the glory of God {Romans 5:1-2}."

The Absolute Necessity For The Virgin Birth

39. Scripture "And I will put enmity between you [Satan] and the woman [Israel], and between your seed [man in unregenerate state] and her [Israel's] seed [Jesus Christ]; it [the seed... Jesus Christ] shall bruise [crush] your [Satan's] head [under foot], and you [Satan, will lie in wait and] shall bruise His [Christ's] heel {Genesis 3:15}."

40. We find here the first declaration of the Lord Jesus coming on the scene as the offspring of the woman Israel. This Gospel [good news] was certainly necessary because of man's fall and because his sin had dire consequences for the entire human race. Notice that salvation was offered before the first man and woman were judged for their sin. Grace always precedes judgment! There would have never been any reason to produce an old sin nature in the human race, had Adam and Eve refused to voluntarily disobey Jehovah's commandment. It must be realized though, that the sin of Adam was different from that of Eve! Because of this sin, spiritual death came upon the human race. Jehovah God had commanded them not to eat of the tree of good and evil. Scripture...

41. {V. 2} "And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:

42. {V. 3} But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, You shall not eat of it, neither shall you touch it, lest you die. {Genesis 3:2-4}." {If you will notice, Eve omitted part of what God had said. {See Ch. 2:17},"

43. {V. 13} Scripture, "For Adam was first formed [first in order of rank or authority as well as in time], then Eve.

44. {V. 14} And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression {1- Timothy 2:13-14}." {See Genesis 3:1-6}.

45. According to God's Word, we all have a free will to sin or not to sin. Our first parents didn't use good judgment when they used their free will, what they decided to do they did. Naturally, one of them was just as guilty as the other one. It has been ask, "how could Eve be as guilty as Adam since she was deceived?" The Lord had told both of them not to eat of the tree of good and evil, this was a commandment that she knew about but believed a lie instead, and this is what made her guilty of sin! {See Genesis 2:16-17; - & - 3:1-7}. The woman was completely deceived by Satan. As for Adam, he was well aware of what he was doing and was not deceived. When Eve offered him the fruit, he took it from her hand and ate it. You notice he did not pick the fruit from the tree himself.

46. The Scriptures make clear that Adam's sin was not the same as Eve's. Because of their sins, Salvation through the blood of Christ would be absolutely necessary for them as well as for all their future offspring ... as long as the old sin nature in mankind exists. Because of their sin, the future Saviour according to Jehovah's promise, would come into being by being born of the woman. Again, we return to {1- Timothy} Scripture...

47. "Not withstanding she shall be saved [delivered] in [through] child bearing..." {1- Timothy 2:15}.".

48. What the verse is saying is, "The sentence, put upon women, that will cause pain in bearing children, does not hinder their souls from receiving eternal salvation if they will continue in faith, love and holiness and with self-control ... They can be saved through the virgin birth of the Divine Christ Child.

49. The only way anyone on this earth including Eve, could receive Salvation would be that a Saviour would come into this world by being born from the womb of a virgin. Procreation had nothing to do with the birth of Jesus Christ. He could not have inherited the old sin nature from Adam for He had no human father. Thus, since Jesus was placed in Mary's womb by God the Holy Spirit, He as God the Son could not and did not commit even one personal sin.

50. Just because folks misunderstand God's Word, there still is no excuse for sin. Eve was deceived that is true, but it was because of Adam willingly partaking of the forbidden fruit that the old sin nature was passed on down from him to the rest of humanity. He was fully aware of the fact that he was going against the Lord's commandment. Thus, all of the rest of his descendants would have to suffer the consequences.

There Never Would Have Been Any Victory Without The Virgin Birth!

51. When Jehovah [Jesus] made the statement that He would put "enmity between Satan and the seed of the woman," there was a twofold meaning in the word "woman." The largest meaning was, that the word woman was in reference to the future nation Israel. Israel was to become the Bride of Christ six thousand years after the creation of Adam at the time of Christ's Second Coming. Satan was not an ignoramus. He knew that if he could keep Israel from coming on the scene, there would be no woman [Israel] to produce seed to carry out Jehovah's eternal program.

52. When we search the Scriptures, we can find many ideas Satan had to destroy the Hebrew nation. He had hopes that Sara, Abraham's wife, would never be able to produce a son, but, God made sure that she did. You can bet your life that Satan did not want Abraham's grandson Jacob to have the birthright that he inherited from his father Isaac. When the drought overcame the land of Canaan in latter years, Satan would have been happy if Jacob and his family would have starved to death. But, God had placed Jacob's son Joseph in Egypt as the overseer of the land. Because of this fact, Jacob's posterity was protected by Jehovah. Satan would have been overjoyed, had the descendants of Abraham been brought down to destruction by the Egyptians. God had other plans by using Moses as the people's leader. Satan would have been very happy had the Pharaoh of Egypt succeeded in having all the boy babies destroyed, but again, the Lord had other plans.

53. Had the Israelites been continually forbidden to leave Egypt, this would have made Satan happy. There are many ways throughout the history of the Hebrew nation where Satan tried to keep God's plans from being fulfilled. Of course, it must be realized that Satan wanted the Christ Child, Jesus, not to be born on this earth. Jesus, being a descendent of Abraham in His humanity, was a natural seed of the woman Israel. As you know by the New Testament record, Satan planned many times to destroy Jesus. But, God had other plans. The secondary meaning in reference to the "Woman" in {Genesis 3:25}, referred of course to Mary. Hostility will always exist in the human race while the devil remains the god of this earth. Worldly love and friendship and the "brotherhood of man" are part of the devil's propaganda.

54. Although believers are commanded to love, or to have a relaxed mental attitude ... as all are aware... there is a natural separation of thought and of life styles between unbelievers and believers, the Devil's seed and the woman's seed. The above mentioned verse in Genesis states that Christ would "bruise Satan's head." Naturally, the ruler-ship of the Devil can only be destroyed at the time his head [or rule] is terminated at the return of Jesus Christ to this earth. Satan's greatest vulnerability is associated with his limited rule over this earth. When the Devil's rule ends, the Lord as the Bridegroom will have returned to the earth to take the saved remnant of Israel as His Bride. Christ as King will then judge the nations and Satan will be tried and sentenced to the Pit of Hell.

55. When the words "Baptism of fire" is mentioned in {Luke 3:16}, there is a twofold meaning in the verse and both refer to hell. The first meaning refers to the judgment accompanying the Second Coming of Christ when Satan and all his followers of the spirit world and all human unbelievers are cast into Hellfire [in Hades]! And then, the Millennial Reign of Christ will begin. The second meaning, refers to the "white throne judgment" of the lost. Those whom are in a lost condition upon the earth, plus all those folks that are in Hell, these people will be judged and cast into the eternal "Lake of Fire." "The Prison of no return!" When the text in Genesis speaks of "the bruising of Christ's heel by Satan," remember at that time God called Satan a serpent. As we are aware, a snake is a serpent and the heel is a natural weapon to crush the head of a poisonous viper.

56. As Scripture explains, the Devil [a viper] was the first to strike mankind with the venom of sin which spread throughout the whole world. By performing this great achievement, it was in Satan's mind that he had been victorious by achieving the sentence of spiritual death for the human race. Naturally, we know the rest of the story, don't we? There is no possible way for Satan to win a battle with God! The Lord Jesus was the prophesied Seed of the nation Israel. As one man said, "Christ was the antidote for sin." As the Greater Seed of Israel, and of the whole world at large, He provided a future garden in the paradise of Heaven that was just as glorious, and likely much more glorious then the Garden of Eden of Adam's time, which was only a shadow of our Heavenly garden.

The prophetic Scriptures Points The Way To Eternal Bliss In The Heavenlies!

57. If folks are well taught from the Scriptures, no false Christ's can come on the scene to fool them! All one has to do, is to check the lineage down through the centuries to find proof as to whether Jesus was the true Christ, whether He was the God- Man that prophecy stated He was! Most Theologians will admit that King David was the greatest King Israel ever had. Therefore, David was promised that through his lineage, the nation of Israel would bring forth a boy child that would reign eternally!

58. Scripture "The Lord has sworn in truth to David; He will not turn from it; Of the fruit [offspring] of your body will I set upon your throne {Psalm 132:11}." {See Psalm 89:3-4; --- 2- Samuel 7:12, 16; --- Luke 1:69; - & - Acts 2:30-31}.

59. This verse gives us the understanding, that Jesus Christ's Humanity, became the body that God the Holy Spirit placed the eternal Messiah into at the time of Christ's conception! Had Jesus been a natural born son with a human father, it would have been impossible for Him to fulfill the prophecy as Israel's Messiah.

60. Scripture, "[Concerning] The book [ancestry and genealogy] of the generation of Jesus Christ, the Son [descendant] of David, the son [descendant] of Abraham {Matthew 1:1}." [This strictly concerned the Hebrew race].

61. Because of the fact that Jesus truly was the "God Man" that had been promised, the authenticity of Christ's claim to the throne of David would be established. This genealogy in the first chapter of Matthew proves beyond any doubt that Jesus is the legal heir to David's throne! He had a legal, moral, judicial and prophetically right to the throne.

The Royal Lineage Of Christ From King David

62. When we study the bloodline of both Joseph and Mary, we find that Mary's bloodline came from Nathan the second son of Bath-sheba, King David's wife ... whereas Mary's husband [Joseph], his bloodline is traced back to Bathsheba's first son Solomon. Thus, the bloodline of Jesus came down from David's son, Nathan. Since Jesus was God who has always existed, this means that no man or woman upon this earth could have been the real father or real mother of His Deity. Joseph was not ... even the real father of Jesus' humanity. Since both parents bloodline went back to David, Christ's legal right to the throne is established, but His humanity is only established through the bloodline of Mary. His Deity naturally had always existed. If the reader wishes to look up the Nathan line, read {Luke 3:23-38}.

The Fulness Of Time

63. Scripture "... when the fulness of [proper] time was come, God [the Father] sent forth His Son [Jesus Christ from Heaven], made of [and having come into existence through] a women, made under the [authority and regulations of the Mosaic] law, {Galatians 4:4}." {See Ephesians 3:10}."

64. Christ's humanity was reared in conformity to the Mosaic law. The fulness of time was the precise moment in history when all conditions were "go" for the entrance of the Saviour into the world. God's timing is always perfection. For some fourteen hundred years Israel was throttled by Satan's many false religions. There was a great contrast between those commandments God had set forth for man to obey and live by, and the false religious system established by Satan. The virgin birth was a great triumphant accomplishment and a marvelous victory over Satan.

65. This miracle caused the establishment of the Kingdom Gospel, began by John the Baptist {Luke 16:16}. Had there been no virgin birth, the Kingdom Gospel would have never been established. Without the virgin birth, there would have been no crucifixion of Christ and mankind would have perished from the earth! A short time later, after Christ's death, the establishment of the Gospel of the Mystery through the Apostle Paul was established {See Ephesians 3:9; - & - Romans 11:25; 16:25]. Without the virgin birth, this also could not have taken place! The mystery Gospel for the Body of Christ was something unknown until revealed to Paul the Apostle. This mystery established the promise that henceforth, through Paul's Gospel of the Mystery, both Hebrews [Jews] and Gentiles would be equal heirs in the one Body of Christ {Ephesians 3:6}. There are hundreds of prophetic events that would have never taken place, had the virgin birth failed to take place. But, God had other ideas!

66. This Mystery Gospel superseded the Kingdom Gospel that had been established through John the Baptist. This Mystery Gospel, was unknown in the Old Testament, but was first revealed to the Apostle Paul and through him to the 12 Apostles and Prophets. This is all explained to a much greater extent in our "nine part message of the Bride and Body of Christ."

67. The plan concerning the virgin birth, conceived by God in eternity past, carefully prepared and guarded over the centuries, was now to be put into operation. The "actors" were already on the scene. As we have before stated, God had chosen Mary, a virgin of the royal tribe of Judah, to be the mother of Christ's humanity; and he had chosen Joseph, also of royal descent, to be the legal father. Scripture ...

68. "Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise [took place under these circumstances]: when as His mother Mary was espoused [in an engagement ceremony and was promised in marriage] to Joseph, before they came together [in a sexual union], she was found [to be pregnant] with child of [and through the power of God] the Holy Spirit, {Matthew 1:18}."

69. In the Jewish society an espoused or engaged couple was actually considered married, but there was a transitional period of waiting before the consummation of the marriage. Now before there had been any sexual relationship between them, Mary became pregnant. The embryo was miraculously formed in Mary's womb by God the Holy Spirit. This is stated here again, to emphasize the virgin birth. This is the "ONLY virgin pregnancy in the human race," without the seed of a man being placed in the womb of a woman! There can be no doubt about Mary confiding to Joseph concerning her pregnancy. Many today likely believe that Joseph believed Mary's explanation. On the other hand, if nothing like this had ever taken place on the earth before you became engaged to a woman, would you believe her? We believe that if you loved someone as much as he loved her, you might do the same thing Joseph decided to do. Joseph was a troubled man. What would his friends and family think about this?

70. If you were a Christian, you would think about what the Word of God says about marrying a woman that is pregnant without you having anything to do with it. What should he do? Should he have the engagement annulled by law? When a woman was found pregnant and had committed adultery or fornication in that day, the Hebrews under the commandment of the Mosaic law were to stone her to death. Scripture ...

71. {V. 23} "If a damsel [maiden] that is a virgin be betrothed [engaged to be married] unto an husband, and a man find her in the city, and lie with her; .

72. {V. 24} Then you shall bring them both out to the gate of that city, and you shall stone them with stones that they die; the damsel [young woman], because she cried not [did not cry out for help though she], being in the city; and the man, because he had humbled [and violated] his neighbor's [promised] wife: so you shall put away evil from among you {Deuteronomy 22:23-34}."

73. This makes us wonder, how many people would be on this earth today, if all those who have performed illicit affairs had been put to death. How about you? Would you still be alive? Remember, Joseph was by character and nobility, by blood, through the lineage of King David !

74. Scripture "Then Joseph her [affianced and promised] husband, being a just [and upright] man, and not willing to make her a public example [and shame and disgrace her], was minded to [repudiate and dismiss her by divorce and] put her away privately [and secretly] {Matthew 1:19}." {See Hosea 2:2}.

[The dilemma was resolved in the way in which all dilemmas may be resolved for the believer ... by the Word of God].

75. Scripture, "But while he thought on these things, Behold, the angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, Joseph, you son [descendent] of David, fear not to take to you Mary your [fiancee] wife: for that which is conceived in her is [from and out] of the Holy Spirit [of God] {Matthew 1:20}."

76. Joseph, being of the royal line of David, had a perfect right to be called the "son of David." We must remember that the New Testament had not as yet been written. Thus, some of the ways the Lord communicated with men was by a supernatural visit from an Angel, a dream or a vision. Mary was to be kept in a state of virginity until after the birth of Jesus. There was to be no self-righteousness in Joseph and he was not to worry about what family members or friends might think about his situation with Mary.

77. {V. 21} Scripture "And she shall bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name JESUS [Saviour in the Hebrew]: for He shall save His people from their sins {Matthew 1:21."

78. {V. 22} Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord [in the O-T.] by the prophets, saying,

79. {V. 23} Behold, a virgin shall be [come pregnant] with child, and shall bring forth a Son, and they shall call His Name Emman'uel, which being interpreted [it means that Jesus is], God with us [in a human body] {Matthew 1:21-23}."

80. [The word Jesus means "Saviour" in the Greek text, and this was foretold by the prophets of the old Testament. The same thing was foretold in the O- T. about Mary as a virgin giving birth to Jesus].

81. Scripture, "Therefore the Lord Himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call His name Emman'uel [which means ... God with us], {Isaiah 7:14." See also Ch. 9:6}."

82. There is much prophesied, concerning Christ in the Book of Isaiah. Some of these prophecies concern "the reign of Christ in His future Kingdom {2:3-5}; the virgin birth of Christ {7:14}; the joyful reign of Christ {9:2, 7}; Christ as a descendant of Jesse and David {11:10}; Christ to recover His Hebrew Remnant {11:11}; Christ to be filled with the Spirit {42:1}; Christ to judge with righteousness {11:3,5; - & - 42:1-4}; Christ to be the light to the Gentiles and worshipped by them {42:6}; Jesus the redeemer of Israel {49:7}; Christ to be rejected by Israel {49:7; 53:1-3}; Christ to make possible the new covenant {49:8}; Christ to be exalted {52:13}; Christ to be obedient to God the Father and be subject to suffering {53:7-8}; Christ to bare the sin of many, and make intercession for the transgression {53:12}; Christ to restore Israel and judge the wicked {61:1-3}, and etc."

83. The above {V. 14 of Isaiah Ch. 7}, proves that God used the virgin birth as a sign, that God Himself would be embodied in a body of flesh, [A baby, the Christ Child], in other words, "the incarnation in Christ." There is a word in the Hebrew, "Ha almah," that has a double meaning. No. 1, a virgin, No. 2, a young woman. As we have stated before, when any woman has a baby, even though the baby has a human father, we should all see that new born baby as a miraculous gift from God. But, such a gift is routine because it happens every day of the year. On the other hand, when the Christ Child was born of a virgin with no seed of man in His mothers womb, this was certainly the greatest miraculous event in history that ever took place.

84. There is another word in the Greek that was used in the New Testament, This word is "parthenos." This word only has one meaning and always refers to a virgin! As we can see very clearly, the word is different in the New Testament from that of the Old Testament. This is one reason why the Old and the New Testaments must always be compared with each other, otherwise there can be a great deal of confusion. The O-T. referred to a "sign," whereas the N-T. refers to a virgin and both references are to the birth of "The God Man" Jesus Christ. Therefore, the word virgin in the N-T. is the true Meaning and NOT to a "young woman!" Many folks take these texts out of their right context and teach that they only refer to a young woman!

85. {1- Corinthians 1:22}, "For the Jews require a sign ..." We believe the reason the Hebrew people always believed in signs was because they only had scrolls that had been written by scribes during the early age of their existence. Along with the Scrolls, there were prophets who taught them. God brought about many miraculous signs to prove what He said was true. Since these signs were so prominent in the life of the Hebrew People down through the centuries, they still look for signs even to this very day.

86. The virgin birth was a great sign to Israel. And because of this, many Hebrews were saved under the teachings of the Apostles and disciples of Christ. It wasn't just the Israelites that believed in signs, the fact is, the body of Christ today watch for the signs that were promised to Israel in order to recognize where we are in history. Various prophecies were foretold concerning the Second Coming of Christ. Today, we can see the evidence of these prophecies coming into fruition.

87. According to {Matthew 1:23}, the result of the virgin conception would be a Son whose Name would declare Him to be God, Israel's promised Messiah. The promise of the virgin birth, being the sign for Israel to look for, was also given to Joseph, Scripture ...

88. {V. 24} "Then Joseph being raised [aroused] from sleep did as the angel of the Lord bidden [commanded] him, and took unto him his wife: 899. {V. 25} And knew her not [had no sexual relation with her as her husband] till she had brought forth her firstborn Son: and he called His Name Jesus [Saviour], {Matthew 1:24-25}."

89. The unconditional covenants that were promised to Israel, can only find their beginning of fulfillment at the Second Return of Christ. Like the rest of the human race, Mary was born with imputed and inherent sin and, therefore, also sinned personally. The Incarnate Christ would be the Saviour of His own mother, otherwise she, like any other person, would never be saved. Mary gave birth to other children other than Jesus. Since Christ was her first born child, this meant that following the birth of Jesus, she would have other children also. Speaking of Jesus and His brothers and sisters, the question was ask :

90. Scripture, "Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, [and] the brother of James, and Joses, and of Juda, and Simon? and are not his sisters here with [among] us ...? {Mark 6:3}."

91. The four half brothers and two or more half sisters were children of Joseph and Mary born after the birth of Jesus. James was the author of the Epistle of James and Jude wrote the Epistle of Jude. Practically the same thing is stated in {Matthew 13:55}. These children were born after the birth of Jesus from Mary, and Joseph was their natural father! To teach that these were children of Joseph by a former marriage or that they were cousins of Jesus is contrary to the usual sense of the word "brethren." And any such teaching is false doctrine!

92. Every Christian is aware that Mary, the mother of Jesus, was very important in God's plan for the human race. But, never was she to be looked upon as a Divine Goddess. Neither was she to be an object of worship. She was not a female Deity that folks were to bow down to in prayer. Positively, Mary was not, and could not be the mother of the preexistent God! How could she be since God is eternal, past, present and future? God Himself, has no human characteristics! Mary could only be the mother of the Lord's humanity. Scripture ...

93. "And the angel came in to her, and said, Hail [oh joy], you that are highly favoured [filled with grace], the Lord is with you: blessed [favored of God] are you among [and before all other] women {Luke 1:28}."

94. Mary was filled with the grace of God, {See Ephesians 1:6}. Every Child of God is filled with God's grace! The angel told her that she was blessed among women. This does not mean that Mary's status was of higher quality or above all other women. The word "blessed" meant that she had an "inner happiness" that the Lord favoured. The following verses prove to us how happy she really was and how she rejoiced, Scripture ...

95. {V. 46} "And Mary said, My soul does magnify the Lord,

96. {V. 47} And my spirit has rejoiced in God my Saviour.

97. {V. 48} For He has regarded the low estate [station and humiliation] of His handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed [favored of God].

98. {V. 49} For He that is [all] mighty has done to me great things; and holy is His name [to be venerated and in His purity, majesty and glory].

99. {V. 50} And His mercy [His compassion and kindness toward the miserable and afflicted] is on them that fear Him [with godly reverence] from generation to generation.

100. {V. 51} He has shewed [shown] strength [and is mighty] with His arm; He has scattered the proud [and haughty] in the imagination [purpose and designs] of their hearts [minds].

101. {V. 52} He has put down the mighty from their seats [thrones], and exalted them of low degree.

102. {V. 53} He has filled [and satisfied] the hungry with good things; and the rich He has sent empty [handed] away.

103. {V. 54} He has holpen [laid hold on] his servant Israel [to help her to espouse Christ's cause], in remembrance of His mercy;

104. {V. 55} [Even] As He spoke [and promised] to our fathers, to Abraham, and to his seed [descendants] for ever {Luke 46-55}." {Read Genesis 17:7; 18:18; ... 22:17; ... 1- Samuel 2:1-10; - & - Micah 7:20}.

105. When we read about John the Baptist, we can see how he withdrew into obscurity so that Christ would become more prominent in His ministry. The same thing can be said about the 12 Apostles, who were seldom mentioned after the Apostle Paul began his ministry. In Jesus' childhood Mary was very prominent but, very seldom mentioned after the Lord was baptized by John. Any Child of God should admit, that everything they have in this life and will have in the after life, is in accordance with the grace of God through Jesus Christ!

After The Impact Of The Virgin Birth Of The Christ Child:

106. Scripture "And the word [Jesus Christ] was made [became] flesh [human, incarnate], and dwelt among us, [and we actually beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,] full of grace and truth {John 1:14}." {See Isaiah 40:5};

107. Scripture, "Who being [eternal existing in] the brightness of glory [shining forth of Divine essence], and the express image of his [Father, God's] Person [and nature], and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down on [at] the right hand of the Majesty on high [God the Father] {Hebrews 1:3}."

108. Jesus is the second person of the Trinitarian Godhead called the "Logos." Before His incarnation [a living person embodying a deity], He had been known as the creator of all matter. And as Jehovah meaning "[The Covenant God]," Who had led the children of Israel out of Egypt. He had reigned with the Father everlastingly in the past. But now, He is different in that He has taken on the human body of the Christ Child. As the God Man, His duty was and still is, to reveal God's glory to the world at large! Scripture ...

109. "For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, has shined in our heart [minds], to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ {2- Corinthians 4:6}." {See Genesis 1:3}.

110. The question is ... " What is the message of the true servants of God? Are they to exalt man, or themselves, or the age with its boasted progress?" We must preach not of ourselves, but of Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves as the servants for Jesus' sake. Because it is God who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, as it was in the hour of creation when darkness covered everything, so it is in redemption. God has placed His grace into the hearts [minds] of them who believe. He has also placed the knowledge of the glory of God in our minds, that we may teach others His Holy Word. Thus, by our message to others, they also may help lost folks come to Christ. In the "Logos," we have God's Word in all its completeness and perfection!

111. {V. 14} Scripture, "But the natural man receives not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness to him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

112. The natural man [literally; the "soulish man"]. Paul contrasts the soulish man [the soul as the organ of human cognition] with the "spiritual" [the spirit as the organ of spiritual cognition]. The former, when confronted with spiritual truth, "receives not." He is unreceptive. He does not admit the truth into his mind, {see Luke 8:13; Acts 8:14; 11:1; 1-Thessalonians 1:6; - & - James 115}. "They are foolishness." He passes it off with scorn. Neither can he know [literally; "he cannot know"] As spiritual discernment is generated only by the Holy Spirit, the capacity to know spiritual truth is beyond the innate powers of the natural man. "Because they are spiritually discerned" shows that the natural man is incompetent. The fundamental idea of "discerned" [Greek- anakrinomai] is that of examination or scrutiny. It is used only by Paul and Luke, and mostly of judicial examination [see Luke 23:14; ... Acts 4:9; ... 1- Corinthians 9:3; 10:25, 27]. It speaks of the impatient human spirit which prejudges the truth and wants to anticipate the full judgment. On the spiritual plain, the natural man does not even have the ability to sift the facts.

113. {V. 15} But he that is spiritual judges [or at least tries, that is, he examines, investigates, inquires into, questions, and discerns] all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.

114. The word "but" introduces the contrast with "he that is spiritual" [he who dominated by the Spirit]. Such a man "judges" [Greek anakrino] "all things." The difference between the natural man and the spiritual man is merrily that the spiritual man has been exposed to the Lord's revelation, has received it, and founded his faith upon it. He can judge now both earthly and heavenly things. He can discern what is and what is not of the gospel of salvation, and whether a man truly preaches the truth of God. It is important to observe that the spiritual man does not lose his power of reasoning. Nor does Paul renounce the concepts of reason and logic. Rather, he elevates revelation above reason, and subjects the imaginations of human reason to the objective truth of the Lord. The natural man operates in reverse. Discerning all things, the spiritual man is "judged of no man" who is not spiritual.

115. {V. 16} For who has known [or understood] the mind [the counsels and purpose] of the Lord, that he may [guide and] instruct Him [and give Him knowledge]? But we [Christians] have the mind of Christ [the Messiah, and do hold the thoughts, feelings and purposes of His heart] {I- Corinthians 2:15-16}." {See Isaiah 40:13}.

116. {V. 15} above says, "he that is spiritual." Speaking of the mature Christian, who is led and taught by the Spirit, judges all things, i.e., he can scrutinize, sift, and thereby understand all things. But unbelievers and even carnally-minded Christians cannot judge [understand] him. Who is it that shines in our hearts today? And who is it that gives us instruction according to {v. 16} above? It is the glorious Christ Who gives us all Knowledge. He had great glory, but His glory was not what caused Him to be crucified and could not take Him to the cross. Neither could the sins of this world be annulled by His glory. Therefore, when God saw fit to perform the miraculous virgin birth, the Man-child came on the scene to eventually eradicate sin in His own flesh. He was born to die. No one else has ever been born that could do this. As one man stated, "As the God-Man, the Highest went to the lowest for sinful man."

117. While Jehovah was in Heaven, long before He came down to be born into a body of flesh, He knew that man as a whole knew absolutely nothing about God. How could He fail to think of lost humanity while He was being nailed to the cross? He knew the future as well as He knew the Past. He knew that all those horrible sins that were laid upon Him while He was dying, belonged to every human being that had ever been born or that would ever be born. He completed all those Prophetic events that had been foretold in the O-T Scriptures that He was to fulfill at that time! He did exactly what was expected of Him by God the Father!

118. Scripture, " ... Nevertheless not My will, but [always] Yours, be done {Luke 22:42}." {See Psalm 22; - & - Isaiah Ch. 53}.

119. {V. 16} Scripture, "For God so [greatly] loved [and dearly prized] the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that

whosoever believes [trusts, clings to and relies] in Him should not perish [come to destruction, be lost], but have everlasting life.

120. {V. 17} For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn, [judge, to reject, or to pass sentence on] the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.

121. {V. 18} He that believes on Him [who clings to, relies on Him, and trust in Him] is not condemned [and never comes up for judgment. For him there is no rejection and no condemnation]: but he that believes not [and refuses to cleave to, and rely on, or trust in Christ] is condemned already, [he has already been convicted; and has already received his sentence] because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

[He is condemned for refusing to let his trust rest in Christ's name] {John 3:16-18}." Scripture ...

122. {V. 9} That if you shall [acknowledge and] confess with your mouth [that Christ is] the Lord Jesus [and that He is God in the flesh], and shall believe [adhere to, trust in and rely on the truth] in your heart that God [the Father] has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved.

123. {V. 10} For with the heart [mind] man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession [declares openly and speaks out freely his faith that is declared righteous and acceptable to God, and this confirmation] is made unto salvation. {See Colossians 1:14}.

124. {V. 11} For the Scripture says: Whosoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed.

125. {V. 12} For there is no difference between the Jew [Hebrew] and the Greek [Gentile]: for the same Lord [Who is forever] over all [of us, and He generously bestows His riches upon every Believer, because He,] is rich unto all that call upon Him.

126. {V. 13} For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord [invoking Him as Lord] shall be saved [spiritual deliverance] {Romans 10:9-13}."

127. Because of the sin of Adam, eating from the forbidden tree, the inheritance he left for us was "sin and death." Scripture...

128. "For the wages of sin is death; but the [bountiful] gift of God is eternal life through [and in union with] Jesus Christ our Lord {Romans 6:23}."

129. The removal of the inherited curse from Adam was taken care of by Jesus Himself. All who will believe in the above verses and take Christ as their Saviour, will receive the gift of Almighty God and eternal security will follow that person forever! Never again will Adam's gift have any power over the children of God! The question we ask at the beginning of our message was, "Is Mary the mother of God?"

The Roman Catholic Worship Mary As The Mother Of God!

130. Some might say, that we, according to the following sentences, are only running a denomination down. But we are not! We do believe that the reader should understand what this great organization of almost one billion people accept as being true doctrine for the world at large. Naturally, we cannot accept that type of doctrine for ourselves or for anyone else. Our Bible makes very clear, that many people teach a false doctrine that is not of God! False teaching is always of a cultic nature and denies the Word of God. We are not saying that people are in a lost condition if they disagree with other Bible teachers. On the other hand, when they admittedly deny the true teaching of the Word of God and change the Scriptures around to agree with their own Church doctrine, this naturally does the same thing that the cults are guilty of. Therefore, you be the judge and see if you agree with the following ...

131. Though many Catholics would deny it, Mary has taken the place of a God in their religion. If it seems extreme to suggest that "Mary" is Catholicism's chief Deity, consider the following from the classic book, long accepted by the Vatican, "The Glories of Mary", by Cardinal Alphonsus De Liguori ...

132. "He falls and is lost who has not recourse to Mary. We shall be heard more quickly if we have recourse to Mary and call on Her Holy Name, than we should be if we called on the name of Jesus our Saviour...

133. Many things ... are ask from God, and are not granted; they are ask from Mary, and are obtained (for) She is even Queen of Hell ...

134. All power is given to Thee (Mary) in Heaven and on earth that at the command of Mary all obey, even God.

135. Thus ... God has placed the whole Church ... under the dominion of Mary."

136. When asked why they pray to Mary, most Catholics will deny that they do so and will insist that they only ask her to intercede in the same manner that Protestants would ask a friend to pray for them.

137. Yet prayers are addressed to Mary for everything from safety to forgiveness of sins and eternal salvation. Official prayers to Mary can be found in such imprimatur booklets as "Devotions in honor of our Mother of Perpetual help." Its back cover declares: ...

138. "NO TRUE CHILD OF MARY IS EVER LOST." How does one become a child of Mary? Is that better than being a child of God? The following is typical of the booklets "Prayers and praise to Mary" ...

139. "O Mother of perpetual help, thou art the Dispenser of all the goods which God grants to us miserable sinners ...

140. Come, then to my aid, Dearest Mother ... IN YOUR HANDS I PLACE MY ETERNAL SALVATION AND TO THEE I ENTRUST MY SOUL ...

141. For, if thou protect me, DEAR MOTHER, I fear nothing: not from my sins, because thou WILT OBTAIN FOR ME THE PARDON OF THEM; NOR FROM THE DEVILS, BECAUSE THOU ART MORE POWERFUL THAN ALL HELL together; nor EVEN FROM JESUS, MY JUDGE, HIMSELF, because, by one prayer FROM THEE, HE WILL BE APPEASED.

142. But one thing I fear, that in the hour of temptation, I MAY NEGLECT TO CALL ON THEE, and thus PERISH MISERABLY. Obtain for me then, the PARDON OF MY SINS."

143. Such is the false and idolatrous "Mary" of Catholicism that is an insult to God and to the Mary of our Bible. She is looked to for the very pardon of sins and salvation that Christ procured with His own blood, and which He freely dispenses by grace to all who believe in Him. He is depicted here as an adversarial judge who would condemn us were it not for Mary's intercession! What an abomination! Yet Protestants in growing numbers are joining with the Catholic Church to "evangelize the world" by the year 2OOO A. D. A typical Catholic news paper late in 1990 reminded parishioners ...

144. "MARY AS THE LITANY SAYS, IS: THE REFUGE OF SINNERS" AND "THE GATE OF HEAVEN." And she is "THE GATE OF HEAVEN" as well for the poor souls IN PURGATORY: surely we should PRAY TO HER FOR THEM ...

145. St. Bernard wrote, "No sinner, however great, is lost, IF MARY PROTECTS HIM." words worth meditating on for weeks ... The Church prays, "THROUGH THE VIRGIN MOTHER OF GOD, may THE LORD grant us salvation and peace ... WE SHOULD PRAY TO THE QUEEN OF PEACE for peace in our strife- torn world." ... We need her to guide us along the dark road of life."

146. Dr. Larry Spargimino wrote: quoting from his radio broadcast ... "A listener asks: "The Roman Catholic Church puts a lot of emphasis on Mary. Where in the Bible do we find that Mary is our Mediatrix?" Answer: Yes, the Roman Catholic Church put a lot of emphasis on Mary. The Catechism of the Catholic Church, p. 275, states: "... the Blessed Virgin is invoked in the Church under the titles of Advocate, Helper, Benefactress, and Mediatrix." On that same page the Catechism of the Catholic Church also states: "The church's devotion to the blessed virgin is intrinsic to Christian worship. The Church rightly honors the Blessed Virgin with special devotion. From the most ancient times the Blessed Virgin has been honored with the title of 'Mother of God,' to whose protection the faithful fly in all their dangers and needs."

147. Unfortunately, modern evangelicalism is all to ready to surrender some key teachings of Scripture that effects the very nature of the Gospel. In {Galatians 1:8} the apostle writes:

148. "But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed."

149. Several questions always need to be kept in mind when addressing the role of Mary in Roman Catholic thinking. First, who came into the world to save sinners, Jesus or Mary? Secondly, when Mary and Jesus were on earth, did Jesus invite sinners to come to Himself, or did He invite them to come to Mary? Did Mary ever invite sinners to come to herself? Thirdly, does the Bible ever give us an example of a sinner who was afraid to go to Jesus, and who went to Mary instead? This is an especially important question since many Roman Catholics think that we need to go through a Mediatrix to get to the Mediator. Fourthly, what about the thief on the cross? Did he talk to Jesus or did he talk to Mary? Fifthly: Who actually died on the cross to pay for your sins and my sins, Jesus or Mary? If you have answered "Jesus," then you have answered correctly according to the Bible.

150. And lastly we have to ask: Who is the sinner's best friend. Jesus or Mary? If Jesus is your best friend, then why should you go to Mary? In {1- timothy 2:5} the Bible says: "For there is one God, and one mediator Between God and man, the man Christ Jesus." Notice how restrictive this verse really is. It says that "there is one God." If someone says that there are two gods, that person would be in error. In the same way, this verse says that there is "one Mediator." There is nothing here that suggests, or even allows, two mediators, or one mediator and one Mediatrix." This aired on February 9, 2001.

151. Thus, the Catholic religion is a proven cult according to our Bible just the same as all cults who put their trust in anything other than the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation.

152. Please remember the following ... Scripture, "The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God, {Psalm 9:17}." {See also Revelation 20:11-15}, which concerns the wicked of this world. [What do you the reader think of all this?]

153. In order to be positive of your own Salvation, we would ask you to "Please" read and pray the following prayer and if you really mean in your heart [mind] what you have read and if you have spoken these words in this prayer with a contrite mind to God the Father, at the end of the prayer you will have become a Child of God!

THE SINNERS PRAYER:

154. Heavenly Father, I know that I'm a lost sinner and that I cannot save myself by good works. I believe that Jesus Christ is God the Son Who came down from Heaven and took on a human body of flesh and was born of the Virgin Mary. I believe that Jesus shed His blood on the cross of Calvary and died paying the price for my sins with His death so that I can receive salvation because and through His sacrifice. I believe that after Christ's sacrifice and death, He arose from the tomb after three literal days and nights. That Jesus ascended into the third Heaven to sit at the right hand of God the Father. I believe that Jesus will return for all Saints who belong to the Body of Christ in the Rapture according to His own promise!

155. I know that I have been up to this time a lost sinner and deserved to go to hell. So I beseech you Heavenly Father, send your Holy Spirit at this very moment into my Heart and save me for Jesus Christ sake as has been promised me by Your Holy Word. I am receiving Jesus Christ at this very moment as my personal Saviour, my Lord and as my only blessed hope for salvation. Thank You Lord for now I am saved by Your wonderful grace. Amen!

156. "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved {John 3:16-17}."

157. "For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast {Ephesians 2:8-9}."

158. "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for them that love Him. But God has revealed them to us by His [Holy] Spirit, for the Spirit searches all things, yes the deep things of God {1- Corinthians 2:9-10}."
