Close your eyes. Enjoy the presence of God. He is always there to listen to you, but are you crying out to him. It's so easy running around daily to just forget about God, trying to get through everything on your own strength, but ultimately we will get weary. So many times we say we know we can do nothing without God but how many actually acknowledge it all the time. So easy to say it but actually practising it is a whole different matter. He has said in His Word "call upon me all weak and heavy laden and I will give you rest." Rest not as in He'll take away whatever we might have ahead, but rest in the fact that we have a God who is able to see us through. That is what we are to give thanks for. Give thanks not for the situation itself, but give thanks that you have a God who is able to see you through.
