Description of the May 2000 Course: The course will probably be similar to courses in the past, and as of right now, we are planning to do 1 week in the Wasach Mountains (for winter and high altitude medicine), 1 week on a river (probably the Green River through Desolation Canyon), and 1 week in the desert (probably Canyonlands).

The Details of the May 2000 Course:

• Cost: approximately $1800 (airflight is NOT included in this price).
• When: 3 weeks in May of 2000 (the 4th week is mostly taken up by travel time).
• Flight reservations: are arranged by the participants themselves.
• Who can participate in the course: the course is designed for 4th year medical students and medical residents. In the past, non-medical personnel have participated in the trip by acting as the victims in the medical emergencies that are simulated during the course.
