Preceded in death by her husband, parents and 5 brothers.     BISBEE John Robert "Whiskey Man" Bisbee, age 54, of Columbus, died Friday, October 27, 2000 at home. Survived by wife, Anna M.     BOEHM Francis J. "Frank" Boehm, age 86, Columbus, passed away October 26, 2000 Mt. Carmel Medical Center, Columbus, Oh. He was born June 14, 1914 in Columbus and was a resident of First Community Village for the past five years. He was preceded in death by parents Francis J. and Lulu Boehm; sister Bernadine (Tom) Raines; and brother Edward (Mickie) Boehm. He is survived by brother Val (Jennie) Boehm; sisters, Luella Albert, Anna Guyer, and Mary Winn. Frank was the beloved husband of 64 years to Helen P. (Bezold) Boehm who survives. He was a loving father to F. James (Mary) Boehm of Nashville, NC., Robert Boehm of Columbus, Antoinette (Jeffery) Long of Colorado Springs, Co., and Maryhelen (David A.) Wright of Columbus. He was a loving grandfather of Elizabeth Boehm (Brad) Miller, Meredith Cain, Lori (Michael) Hutchinson, Lisa Boehm, Robert Boehm II, William (Toni) Boehm, Alexander (Cecilia Fernandez) Long, Eric Long; step-grandchildren, Loren (Tressa) Wright, Lee (Yvonne) Thompson, Darlene Norris, Melissa (Joe) Burnette, Tammy (Johnny) Rodriquez; 19 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews survive. Frank was a graduate of Aquinas High School, class of 1932 and life long member of the Alumni Assn. He was a pressman at Federal Printing Co., where his father was foreman. Frank founded the Boehm Stamp Printing Co., (Boehm Inc.) in 1952. A life long Hilltop and west side resident he was a Scout master, Pack 214 and Boy Scout master, Troup 214 at St. Mary's Magdalene Catholic Church. He was an active member of 4th Degree, Knights of Columbus, Father Huber Assembly #809. He was a founding and charter member of the Knights of Columbus Council #2898. A long time member of St. Mary Magdalene Church where Frank enjoyed singing in the choir. He was a founding and active member of St. Stephen Martyr Catholic Church. He was a current member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church. Frank was a past ward committeemen of the Democratic party and also a past trustee of Franklin Township. He was a member of the Marking Device Assn. Int'l. for more than 40 years and also a member of the Columbus Maennerchor and Catholic Man's luncheon club for many years. Frank especially enjoyed time with his family, travel, golf, reading and playing pinochle. His family will always remember his strong work ethic, values, sense of humor, and his faith in God, and love of the country. He was devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend.     BOLOVAN Michael Bolovan, 79, of Grove City and Canton, Oh., left this world October 25, 2000 to be with God and his beloved wife. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Victoria and his wife Olivia Elena. Born November 21, 1920 in his home atop Webster Hill, he moved from there in 1998 to live with his daughter Olivia Michele, who survives him. He served overseas in the Army during WW II and retired from Republic Steel/LTV after 43 years. He was a strong and gentle man, with family always his first concern. He was a man of integrity, compassion, humor and generosity. A private gathering of his closest friends was held at MILLER FUNERAL HOME, Grove City. He was laid to rest at Forest Hill Cemetery in Canton with dignity and love, a private ceremony at his request. Memorials may be given to Mt.     CHANDLER Adrienne Delsina Chandler "Addie", 72, of Columbus, died peacefully Sunday, October 22, 2000. A lifetime Columbus resident and retired employee of The Ohio State University. A devoted family member, blessed with exceptional wit, charm and grace; Addie's humor will be especially missed by all those who knew her.     CREASAP Gladys B. Creasap died October 27, 2000. Born February 26, 1908 in Knox County, Ohio. Graduated Capital University in 1931. Served for 35 years as a Columbus Elementary Teacher. Survived by niece, Marilyn Bates Atherton of Florida; brother-in-law, Howard Williams; many great friends and neighbors. Preceded in death by husbands Edwin Carl Haveman and Walter E.     DAWSON John A. "Doc" Dawson, age 103, passed away Friday, October 27, 2000 at Kobacker House. Dawson was a WW Veteran and life member of American Legion Post #443, and was a resident of Upper Arlington since 1928. He was born in the town of Brazil in Clay County, IN on November 1, 1896. The fifth of nine children of John Edward and Laura Dawson, he attended a one-room schoolhouse on the then-unpaved "National Road" (U.S. 40). Dawson graduated from Central High School in Muncie, IN, was on the Bearcats' basketball team, and served as editor-in-chief of the school's first Annual in 1916. While enrolled at Purdue University, Dawson enlisted in the Student Reserve Corps. during WWI; and attended the officer's training school at Yale University, achieving the rank of Master Sergeant. After the armistice was signed on November 11, 1918, he volunteered to serve in the Army of Occupation and was preparing to serve as a German-speaking radio operator. When his orders were cancelled, Dawson returned to college. Dawson graduated from Purdue in 1921 with a Bachelor of Arts in Electrical Engineering. He was a member of Phi Kappa Psi and Tau Beta Pi, and Eta Kappa Nu, engineering honorary fraternities. Dawson was employed by Ohio Bell Telephone Company. He retired in 1961 as chief engineer after forty years of service, and was associated part-time with the Better Business Bureau of Central Ohio from 1962 to 1981. Among his duties for the B.B.B., he gave consumer education talks to all age students at area public schools. Dawson served on the Board of Directors of the Upper Arlington Civic Association in 1937, collecting money door-to-door to build Arlington's first swimming pool. he was general chairman of the Upper Arlington Fourth of July parade in 1939, and helped organize the community's first Boy Scout troop. Dawson served as Director of Lima Telephone and Telegraph, as Vice-President of Mount Victory Lumber Company, and on Mayor Moody's Public Utilities Review Commission. He was a member of the Purdue Alumni Association, Ohio Bell Pioneers, Franklin County Society of Professional Engineers, The University Club, Scioto Country Club, the Columbus Numismatic Society, and was a 75 year member of York Lodge #563; Scottish Rite and Aladdin Temple Shrine. In 1976, Dawson helped organize the Upper Arlington chapter of A.A.R.P. He was a member of First Community Church for over 50 years, and was active in the Village Theatre, Vaud-Villities, and the Twentieth Century Club. Dawson was preceded in death by his wife of nearly seventy years, Sarah Jane Harvey Dawson, who passed away in 1993. He is survived by three daughters, Nancylou Crist and Joann Swisher, of Upper Arlington and Sallisue Strahm and son-in-law Kenneth Strahm of Atlanta, Ga.; 7 grandchildren. Julie Crist, Oak Ridge, Tenn., Kenneth Strahm II, of Sumter S.C., SueEllen Sutton, of Atlanta, David Crist, Scott Swisher and Bill Swisher, of Columbus, and John Strahm, of West Hollywood, Cal., and by eight great grandchildren, all of whom were extremely proud to be his children.     FINLEY Dorothy E. Finley, age 87, a longtime resident of Upper Arlington, died Thursday October 26, 2000 at Mayfair Village Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She retired in 1979 as a food service manager from The Ohio State University. Dorothy is survived by Jeannie Frost, of Scottsdale, Ariz.; grandchildren, Erin K. Frost, Paige E. (Clifford) Moseley, and Peter J. Frost; and great granddaughter, Peyton E. Moseley.     FOSTER Edna Marie Foster, age 90, of First Community Village and Lakeside, Oh., died Thursday, October 26, 2000 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Preceded in death by her parents Lester Vincent Bratton and Sara Amelia Buechler Bratton, her husband Farley Foster, who died in 1992 and her sister Natlan. Edna is survived by her children, David (JoAnn) Foster of Ga., Sidney (Judy) Foster of Upper Arlington, Sally (John) Smith of S.C. and Susan Silas of Fla.; 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.     GEBHART Clara Edith Gebhart, 86, October 26, 2000, resident of Grandview Heights. Retired high school teacher. Graduate of Marietta College (Phi Beta Kappa) and The Ohio State University. She was an accomplished artist and craftsperson. She was a homemaker, a former member of North United Methodist Church in Columbus, and past president of the United Commercial Travelers and Woman's Club Council #1. She is survived by sister and brother-in-law, Leona (Tony) and Sam Burton, Lake Worth, Fla.; grandson, John F. Grieve, Inglis, Fla., great-grandson, Austin Grieve, Fla.; 3 sisters-in-law, Norma, Leota, and Evelyn Haynes all of Lancaster; niece, Marjorie A. Ewing, Pataskala, and other nieces and nephews.     HATHAWAY Helen Virginia (Williams) Hathaway, of New Albany, Oh., on Thursday October 26, 2000. Born August 22, 1922 in Vincennes, Ind.     MONACO Mary B. Monaco, 88, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away peacefully Saturday, October 28, 2000 at her home. Mary, who was known for her lively personality, great cooking ability and sense of humor, was devoted to family, friends and the church. Preceded in death by parents Raphael and Assunta DeVictor; brother Nicholas DeVictor; daughter and son-in-law Mary Jane and Alfred Sanese; brothers-in-law Paul Rupert and Guy Garth; and the father of her children Gildo Monaco. Survived by son, Anothy P. Mary was born in Columbus March 15, 1912, raised in Pettorano Sul Gizio, Italy until age 16 and then moved back to Columbus. She worked at United Woolen and Paperline of White Castle Systems. She was a member of St. Christopher and St. Matthias Catholic Churches, St. Anthony of Padua Circle of St. Francis Catholic Church, and numerous other church sodalities.     SAXBY Elizabeth A. Saxby, died Thursday, October 26, 2000 at the Forum at Knightsbridge. She was born Mary Elizabeth Altsman in Portsmouth, Oh. on November 26, 1909 and is the widow of Russell G. Saxby. A longtime resident of Columbus, Libby was active in St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Childhood League, Franklin Garden Club, Columbus Museum of Art, Twig of Children's Hospital, Columbus Bar Association Auxiliary and the Inniswood Society. She is a graduate of Columbus School for Girls, Mt. Holyoke College and The Ohio State University, where she was Kappa Kappa Gamma. Her life revolved around her family and friends, her community and her love for the arts, music and nature. Libby leaves behind 2 daughters, Annie Houle of Yarmouth, ME and Sara Bentley of Bat Cave, N.C.; grandchildren, Beth Heer of Columbus, Katie Schindler of Stow, MA, Russell Sydnor of Lincoln, CA, Dorrie and Alex Argo of Yarmouth, ME; 4 great-grandchildren; and her faithful nurse, Cheryl Edmunds of Canal Winchester.
