Field Trip to Baltimore

One of the members of the church I pastor is a high school teacher, and she asked me to help chaperone a field trip to Baltimore.  We spent the day at the Inner Harbor, visiting the aquarium, and the various shops.  I also got to take a short walk up to Old Otterbein United Methodist Church, one of the oldest churches in America.

Ironically, this one is the best still picture I took of an aquarium all day, but it wasn't at the National Aquarium - it was at the Barnes and Noble bookstore across the way!

This is from the dolphin show at the aquarium.  I really love this picture.  It's a perfect example of how well the zoom works on my camera.

Another great dolphin shot.

Old Otterbein Church

Next door neighbor to the aquarium.  In addition to housing the Hard Rock, this building also is where the Barnes and Noble store is.

Less than a week before our trip, there was a tragic water taxi accident.  The day we were there, there were high winds, and we were thought that maybe the water taxis would not be operating, but we were mistaken.
