Mission Statement“We, Nu Alpha Kappa, seek to unite and involve all students in a more harmonious and brotherly atmosphere through academic, culture, and social means. There is a need to interface the various backgrounds that constitute the student body of the University, in order to improve relations amongst all students and the neighboring community.”
Our Three PillarsAcademics Our first goal is to support high academic achievement. The primary purpose of attending college can be realized when committed men upholding the principles set forth by NAK provide for one another an environment that supports intellectual stimulation and opportunities for the mastery of their individual academic areas of study. Culture Although culture is our second goal, it is important to note that Nu Alpha Kappa Fraternity, Inc. is Latino-based fraternity that encompasses and values all cultures. Nu Alpha Kappa welcomes and encourages interest and membership of anyone regardless of ethnicity, race or creed. The manner by which Nu Alpha Kappa achieves its second goal is through campus and community service. Each chapter of Nu Alpha Kappa has made its presence felt on its campus and its community through dedicated and dependable volunteer service. Brotherhood Neither the individual brother, nor Nu Alpha Kappa as a whole could achieve its first two goals without an unshakable commitment to the third and final goal: “Carnalismo”. The bond of brotherhood shared among the brothers of Nu Alpha Kappa assures the successful attainment of the first two goals. All brothers of Nu Alpha Kappa look forward in participating in the fraternity sanctioned events as they provide an opportunity to build and strengthen the bond of brotherhood which began during pledgeship.
