Welcome to the GrammarTravel Agency

Are you interested in taking a trip?

Welcome to GrammarTravel, the agency where you can take a trip and improve your grammar all in one easy step! Here at GrammarTravel, we offer several exciting tours of countries and cities you've always wanted to see. Now is your chance! All you have to do is get your passport, which we'll help you do, choose a destination, and away you go!

There are some conditions to our tours. For each tour, you will be required to complete several sentence combining activities. Our page is designed for the student who has had experience with sentence combining before and is interested in polishing those skills even further. The conditions of the agreement require strict adherence to the rules of sentence combining. For a reminder of those rules, click here.

If you are willing to agree to our conditions, then let's work on getting you a passport! The application process is pretty easy -- just complete the sentence combining exercise below CORRECTLY, and you'll be ready to choose a trip!

Passport Application

In the following exercise, we've combined the two shorter sentences to make one longer sentence. Choose the sentence that is correct, including correct punctuation. (NOTE: Although there is not one correct way to combine the sentences, there are wrong ways to combine the sentences. The correct answer in this exercise is not the only way to combine the sentences; it is simply the only correct way of the three.)

Traveling around the world is exciting. There are many beautiful places to visit.

1. Traveling around the world is exciting, there are many beautiful places to visit.
2. Having so many beautiful places to visit, traveling around the world is always exciting.
3. Traveling around the world is exciting because there are many beautiful places to visit.
