I went to a henna body painting workshop with some friends recently. Henna is most commonly used on hair in the USA, but in India and Morocco, it's a body decoration too. It comes out looking like a tribal tattoo, but it only lasts on the skin for 1-3 weeks. And it's easy to do! That is, if you have access to an Indian grocery store where you can buy the tubes of henna paint.

If you don't, you will be able to order them soon from Body Art Supply on the web. Or you can buy powdered henna and mix it yourself. I haven't learned how to do that part yet... maybe I'll post that recipe later on.
