The Massachusetts Association of Teachers to Speakers of Other Languages (MATSOL) is a non-profit organization of professionals in English language education. MATSOL is an affiliate of the International Association, Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). MATSOL Currents is published twice a year, summer and winter, and is available through membership. The MATSOL Bulletin is published periodically through the year. MATSOL sponsors two conferences per year; one in eastern Massachusetts in the spring and the other in the west in the fall. |

The BPL has a large and impressive collection of ESL books both for students and teachers. They are located in the ground floor of the Copley Square branch. A great benefit is that teachers can check out books for 3 weeks at a time. With renewal, teachers can hang on to the books for 6 weeks straight. | |
Metro Boston On-Line Library Network |
The Metro Boston Library On-Line Network offers a large selection of ESL books in an easy on-line search catalog of the Boston, Malden and Chelsea Library Networks. By using your existing library card and obtaining a password from your local branch you can request and renew books on-line. You can request books from any of the libraries which will then be delivered to you at your local library for pick-up. | |

The Minuteman Library Network serves 33 public libraries in towns located to the west of Boston including Cambridge, Somerville, Framingham and Medford.
