I come and wallow here when I need a little inspiration, when I need some comfort, and just because.
I may not have thought up these few well put words, but I wish I did. I guess you could say they are my life philosophy.
Take the time to read them, and perhaps you will find a jewel or two to add to your own heart.
Disclamer: I cannot verify any of these quotes nor their sources.

More On Love
-- Now to begin in the beginning would seem appropriate.
Love is the beginning of all things, well so goes my philosophy.
I love you now, and I'll love you forever; nothing but love and no
goodbyes
-From the movie A Perfect Storm
I have learnt not to worry about love but to honor its coming with
all my heart.
Alice Walker
"Love" is that condition in which the happiness
of another person is essential to your own.
Jubal in _Stranger in a Strange Land_
by Robert A Heinlein
Do you want me to tell you something really subversive?
Love is everything it's cracked up to be.
That's why people are so cynical about it.
It really is worth fighting for,
Being brave for,
Risking everything for.
And the trouble is,
If you don't risk anything,
You risk even more.
-Erica Jong
The love you seek is seeking you at this moment.
Deepak Chopra
Sometimes the perfect person for you is the one you least expect.

Give love like your pet does. Unconditionally and without questions.

It is difficult for some people to accept that love is a choice.
This seems to run counter to the generally accepted theory of
romantic love which expounds that love is inborn and as such requires
no more than to accept it. This theory believes that love is a magical
force which frees us from all suffering and solves every problem, that
it is an end unto itself. To a limited extent, there may be some truths
to each of these beliefs, but having the capacity to love is not the same
as having the ability to love.
-Leo Buscaglia
Love-
It is not a word, nor a single action.
In truth, it can never be wrong
Like the sunrise, perfect in every possible way.
It is many things and yet it must exist
In the small space of the heart.
Once found it can bloom endlessly, with no cease.
It can choke one's throat, bring one to tears...
But it never hides in shadows or in darkness
It never feeds itself on deception.
It grows with trust, honesty and compassion.
Nothing less, always more.
-Sylvia "Minna" P.
Love is not what we become but who we already are.
-Stephen Levine
I didn't love her because it was right; I just loved her.
--- Horse Whisperer, movie dialog
I do believe the lord above
Created you for me to love.
He picked you out from all the rest
Because he knew I'd love you the best.
I once had a heart and it was true,
But now it's gone from me to you.
Take care of it as I have done
For you have two and I have none.
If I go to heaven and you're not there,
I'll wait for you upon a golden stair.
If you're not there by judgement day,
I'll know you went the other way.
I'll give back my angel wings,
My golden heart,
My everything
To prove to you my love is true-
I'd go to hell to be with you.

If a man empties his purse into his head, no man can take it away from him. An investment in

Relationships -of all kinds- are like sand held in your hand. Held loosely, with an open hand, the
sand remains where it is. The minute you close your hand and squeeze tightly to hold on, the
sand trickles through your fingers. You may hold onto some of it, but most will be spilled. A
relationship is like that. Held loosely, with respect and freedom for the other person, it is likely
to remain intact. But hold too tightly, too possessively, and the relationship slips away and is lost.

On Herself
So never try to manage time. It will beat you at
every turn. Never try to plan your days and nights
minute by minute. Do schedule your time, but never
schedule 100 percent of it. You'll kill your creative
impulse if you do. Never try to organize every minute
of your time weeks in advance, or you'll be bored to
death. Instead, let time renew itself around you. Let
it divert you. Let it do something unexpected,
something new. Let it bring nice things, and let it
bring bad things over which you have no control. And
don't try to use personal tricks to fool time. It will
always catch up with you.
Nicolas Hayek
Positive thoughts (joy, happiness, fulfillment, achievement,
worthiness) have positive results (enthusiasm, calm, well-being,
ease, energy, love). Negative thoughts (judgement, unworthiness,
mistrust, resentment, fear) produce negative results (tension,
anxiety, alienation, anger, fatigue).
Peter McWilliams
No man has a good enough memory to make a successful liar.
Abraham Lincoln (1809-1864)
I expect to pass through this world but once, therefore any good that I can

The weirder you're going to behave, the more normal you should

-P. J. O'Rourke
After a while you learn
the subtle differences between
holding a hand and chaining a soul
and you learn
that love doesn't mean leaning
and company doesn't always mean security.
And you begin to learn
that kisses aren't contracts
and presents aren't promises
and you begin to accept your defeats
with your head up and your eyes ahead
with the grace of a woman,
not the grief of a child
and you learn
to build all your roads on today
because tomorrow's ground is
too uncertain for plans
and futures have a way
of falling down in mid-flight.
After a while you learn
that even sunshine burns
if you get too much
so you plant your own garden
and you decorate your own soul
instead of waiting for someone
to bring you flowers.
And you learn that you really can endure
you really are strong
you really do have worth
and you learn
and you learn
with every goodbye, you learn...

When I dance, I dance; when I sleep, I sleep; yes, and when I walk alone in a beautiful orchard,
