When this group first undertook the project of gathering information for "online genealogy research" the goal was to find sites that actually contain information on them. But you just can't overlook those wonderful sites that have only links. We say 'only', but they may be the first site to list the next great online data resource, and then where would the rest of us be if we hadn't checked them? So, as with most things in life, 'only' is merely relevant at the moment. We currently have four very long pages of unsorted Native North American Indian sites, and a page each of Canadian and Hispanic/Latin/Mexican resources, which have not been sorted. We hope to eventually have two pages for each of the Native research sections. One smaller, but oh so valuable, listing of sites that have information on them. In most cases, there is atleast a good selection of GEDCOM files. The second, and much larger page, will be those pages of links. Hard as we tried, we were not a very big group, and we just didn't get every piece of every site searched. So, if you find a site listed on the wrong page, for example, the site in question has a very good listing of GEDCOM files that was overlooked. Please let us know right away, we would like to go look, too! We hope our Native research pages, as well as the other sections of this site, help you in your quest for your ancestors.
