journalistic endeavours

-been writing for LA Harbor-based independent biweekly Random Lengths News for a while now. general beat: citizen action groups, Charter reform, behind-the scenes billionaires- a slew of things falling under the general order of "not just offering the news but making people mad enough to do something about it" (Mark Twain). The admirable thrust at RLN which i attempt to adhere to is to avoid simply reporting who got mugged on 6th street last week, and to rather unearth issues which beg community discussion and action and yet fail to gather the attention of the corporate media for whatever underhanded reason. I humbly offer the following such attempts.
