THE DISCIPLES OF CHRIST WERE FIRST CALLED, "CHRISTIANS" AT ANTIOCH. IT IS WRITTEN THAT WHEN BARNABUS FOUND SAUL, KNOWN ALSO AS PAUL HE BROUGHT HIM TO ANTIOCH.

Acts:11:26: And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch. (KJV)

WHAT DOES THE WORD, "CHRISTIAN" MEAN? I BELIEVE THAT THE WORD CHRISTIAN MEANS, "CHRIST LIKE". THERE ARE CHRISTIANS, AND THERE ARE MEN THAT PRETEND TO BE CHRISTIANS. THERE IS A WAY TO TELL THE TRUE CHRISTIAN FROM THE PRETENDER. THE TRUE CHILD OF GOD, THE CHRISTIAN, WILL NOT TRANSGRESS THE COMMANDMENTS OF GOD.

1Jn:3:2: Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

1Jn:3:3: And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

1Jn:3:4: Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

1Jn:3:5: And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.

1Jn:3:6: Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.

1Jn:3:7: Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

1Jn:3:8: He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

1Jn:3:9: Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

1Jn:3:10: In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

WE AS CHRISTIANS, ARE THE ELECT OF GOD, CHOSEN FROM THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD, AND PREDESTINATED TO BE ADOPTED INTO THE FAMILY OF GOD.

Eph:1:1: Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus:

Eph:1:2: Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

Eph:1:3: Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

Eph:1:4: According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

Eph:1:5: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

Eph:1:6: To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

WE, THE TRUE CHILDREN OF GOD, DID NOT CHOOSE GOD, IT WAS HE THAT CHOSE US. CHOSE US BEFORE WE HAD DONE ANY GOOD OR EVIL. JESUS CHRIST GOD'S BLESSED SON SAID THESE WORDS

Jn:15:16: Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. (KJV)

BY GRACE ARE WE SAVED THOUGH FAITH, AND NOT OF OURSELVES, IT IS THE GIFT OF GOD. WHAT IS GRACE? GRACE IS AN UNMERITED FAVOR. BEFORE WE HAD DONE ANY GOOD OR EVIL, FROM THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD WE WERE ELECTED, SELECTED, HAND PICKED TO BE CHILDREN OF GOD.

Eph:2:8: For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Eph:2:9: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Eph:2:10: For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

SAINTS OF GOD, IF WE COULD HAVE BEEN SAVED BY WORKS OF THE LAW, THE FIRST FIVE BOOKS OF THE BIBLE, THEN CHRIST JESUS DIED IN VAIN.

Gal:2:19: For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God.

Gal:2:20: I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Gal:2:21: I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

CHILDREN OF LIGHT, BEFORE A CHILD IS BORN INTO THE WORLD, GOD EITHER LOVES HIM OR HATES HIM. JACOB, AND ESAU WERE TWINS, BEFORE THE CHILDREN WERE BORN, GOD SAID JACOB I LOVE, BUT ESAU I HATE.

Rom:9:10: And not only this; but when Rebecca also had conceived by one, even by our father Isaac;

Rom:9:11: (For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;)

Rom:9:12: It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger.

Rom:9:13: As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.

Rom:9:14: What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid.

Rom:9:15: For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.

Rom:9:16: So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

Rom:9:17: For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth.

Rom:9:18: Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth.

WHEN A CHILD OF GOD IS BORN INTO THE WORLD, EXCEPT THAT WE BE AS JOHN THE BAPTIST FILLED WITH THE HOLY GHOST FROM HIS MOTHER'S WOMB, WE ARE BORN INTO THE WORLD ALIVE PHYSICALLY, BUT DEAD SPIRITUALLY. WE MUST BE BORN AGAIN. BORN OF WATER, BAPTIZED, AND BORN OF THE SPIRIT; RECEIVING THE WASHING OF REGENERATION, AND THE RENEWING OF THE HOLY GHOST.

Jn:3:1: There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:

Jn:3:2: The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.

Jn:3:3: Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Jn:3:4: Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?

Jn:3:5: Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

Jn:3:6: That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

Jn:3:7: Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

WHY MUST WE BE BORN AGAIN? BECAUSE OF THE ORIGINAL SIN OF ADAM. WHEN ADAM TRANSGRESSED THE COMMANDMENT OF GOD, SIN WAS IMPUTED TO ADAM. BUT, NOT ONLY TO ADAM; BUT TO ALL MANKIND FOR WE WERE ALL IN ADAM AT THE TIME THAT HE ATE OF THE FORBIDDEN FRUIT. WHEN THE HOLY GHOST DEPARTED FROM ADAM WE ALL DIED THE SPIRITUAL DEATH.

1Cor:15:22: For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

THE MOST WONDERFUL THING THAT WILL HAPPEN TO A CHILD OF GOD IN THIS PRESENT WORLD IS RECEIVING THE HOLY GHOST. WHEN A CHILD OF GOD RECEIVES THE HOLY GHOST, THE INWARD MAN THE SOUL COMES TO LIFE. IT IS THE INWARD MAN THE SOUL THAT SHALL LIVE IN ETERNITY; FOR THE INWARD MAN THE SOUL IS RENEWED DAY BY DAY.

2Cor:4:16: For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. (KJV)

BEFORE A CHILD OF GOD RECEIVES THE HOLY GHOST HE CANNOT KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS OF GOD. FOR THE CARNAL MIND, THE MIND OF SENSE, AND REASON WITHOUT THE HOLY GHOST, IS NOT SUBJECT TO THE COMMANDMENTS OF GOD; NEITHER INDEED CAN BE.

Rom:8:6: For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

Rom:8:7: Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

Rom:8:8: So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

WHEN THE ELECT, THE SAINTS OF GOD, ARE BAPTIZED OUT OF THE WORLD, AND INTO THE BODY OF CHRIST; AND RECEIVE THE HOLY GHOST. IT IS AT THIS TIME THAT WE BECOME CHRISTIANS, CHRIST LIKE. FOR WHEN A PERSON RECEIVES THE HOLY GHOST THE INWARD MAN THE SOUL COMES TO LIFE, AND THE INWARD MAN THE SOUL DELIGHTS IN THE LAWS OF GOD.

Rom:7:22: For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:

WHEN A CHILD OF GOD RECEIVES THE HOLY GHOST HE CAN TRULY LOVE FOR GOD IS LOVE. AND THESE THINGS SHALL RADIATE FROM THE BORN AGAIN CHRISTIAN.

Gal:5:22: But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, (KJV)

Gal:5:23: Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. (KJV)

WHEN A CHRISTIAN RECEIVES THE HOLY GHOST HE ENTERS THE KINGDOM OF GOD, FOR THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS RIGHTEOUSNESS, PEACE, AND JOY IN THE HOLY GHOST. WHEN THE HOLY GHOST COMES TO DWELL WITHIN THE BORN AGAIN CHRISTIAN, THE ANOINTING COMES TO DWELL WITHIN; THAT TEACHES, AND BRINGS US INTO ALL TRUTH.

1Jn:2:27: But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. (KJV)

THERE ARE TRUE CHRISTIANS, AND THERE ARE MEN THAT CALL THEMSELVES CHRISTIANS THAT ARE ONLY PRETENDERS. FOR EXAMPLE WHEN THE TRUE CHRISTIANS PARTAKE OF THE LORD'S SUPPER HE BELIEVES THAT HE IS PARTAKING OF THE BODY, AND BLOOD OF CHRIST. FOR WE BELIEVE THE TESTIMONY OF JESUS CHRIST WHEN HE SAID THESE WORDS.

Mt:26:26: And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.

Mt:26:27: And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;

Mt:26:28: For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

BUT, THOSE MEN THAT PRETEND TO BE CHRISTIANS ARE FAITHLESS, THEY CANNOT BELIEVE THAT THE UNLEAVENED BREAD BECOMES THE BODY OF CHRIST, NEITHER DO THEY BELIEVE THAT THE FRUIT OF THE VINE BECOMES THE BLOOD OF CHRIST; BECAUSE THEY CANNOT SEE, TASTE, OR SMELL A CHANGE IN THE SPECIES, THEREFORE THEY CANNOT BELIEVE. BUT, REMEMBER THIS SAINTS OF GOD, EXCEPT A MAN EAT OF THE FLESH OF THE SON OF GOD, AND DRINK HIS BLOOD, HE WILL HAVE NO LIFE IN HIM. JESUS CHRIST, THE FIRST BORN OF EVERY CREATURE, THE BEGINNING OF CREATION, SAID THESE WORDS.

Jn:6:53: Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.

Jn:6:54: Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.

Jn:6:55: For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.

Jn:6:56: He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.

Jn:6:57: As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.

Jn:6:58: This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever.

THE HOLY GHOST MUST BE RECEIVED BY FAITH. THE CHILDREN OF SATAN ARE FAITHLESS, THEREFORE CANNOT RECEIVE THE HOLY GHOST BECAUSE THEY CANNOT SEE HIM.

Jn:14:15: If ye love me, keep my commandments.

Jn:14:16: And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

Jn:14:17: Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

WHY WOULD A CHRISTIAN WANT TO BE IN CHRIST? BECAUSE IN THE BODY OF CHRIST IS WERE WE RECEIVE ETERNAL LIFE.

1Jn:5:11: And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. (KJV)

IN THE BODY OF CHRIST IS WERE THE SAVING TYPE FAITH IS, IN THE BODY OF CHRIST IS WERE THE TRUE WORSHIPPERS WORSHIP GOD. JESUS CHRIST, THE CREATOR OF EVERYTHING THAT IS VISIBLE, AND EVERYTHING THAT IS INVISIBLE, SPEAKING TO THE WOMAN AT THE WELL SAID THESE WORDS.

Jn:4:24: God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. (KJV)

HOW DO CHRISTIANS RECEIVE THE HOLY GHOST. WHEN A CHILD OF GOD, THE ELECT OF GOD, IS BAPTIZED IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST, THEIR SINS ARE REMITTED, WASHED AWAY, AND THEY COME INTO THE PROMISE THAT THEY WILL RECEIVE THE HOLY GHOST.

Acts:19:1: And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples, (KJV)

Acts:19:2: He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost. (KJV)

Acts:19:3: And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism. (KJV)

Acts:19:4: Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus. (KJV)

Acts:19:5: When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. (KJV)

Acts:19:6: And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied. (KJV)
