reetings, holy children of God, in the wonderful name of our lord and saviour Jesus, the Christ. The sermon subject for today is:

THE LORD BY THE PROPHET HOSEA SAID THESE WORDS. Hos:4:6: My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: MEDITATE ON THESE SCRIPTURES. Prv:23:1: When thou sittest to eat with a ruler, consider diligently what is before thee: 2: And put a knife to thy throat, if thou be a man given to appetite. WHAT ARE DIETARY LAWS? LAWS ARE RULES OF CONDUCT ORDAINED BY AUTHORITY. WHAT IS AUTHORITY? AUTHORITY IS ONE THAT IS ABLE TO GIVE A COMMAND, DEMAND OBEDIENCE, AND PUNISH THE TRANSGRESSORS. DIETARY LAWS ARE LAWS THAT PERTAIN TO EATING. IF YOU ARE A NEW CONVERT TO THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION, YOU MAY NOT BE FAMILIAR WITH THE LAWS OF GOD CONCERNING WHEN TO EAT, AND WHEN NOT TO EAT, WHAT TO EAT, AND WHAT NOT TO EAT. LET ME GIVE YOU AN EXAMPLE. WHEN A MAN OF GOD COMES WITH THE INTENT TO GIVE THE LORD’S SUPPER, AND RAISES HOLY HANDS, AND BLESSES THE UNLEAVENED BREAD, AND THE FRUIT OF THE VINE, THERE IS A CHANGE COMES OVER THE SPECIES OF THE BREAD AND FRUIT OF THE VINE. THE UNLEAVENED BREAD BECOMES THE BODY OF CHRIST, AND THE FRUIT OF THE VINE BECOMES THE BLOOD OF CHRIST. JESUS CHRIST SAID THESE WORDS. Mt:26:26: And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body. Mt:26:27: And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; Mt:26:28: For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. WHAT IS UNLEAVENED BREAD? IT IS BREAD THAT HAS BEEN BAKED WITHOUT ANY THING TO MAKE IT RISE AS YEAST, OR BAKING POWDER. YOU MAY WONDER HOW I KNOW THAT THE BREAD HE BLESSED WAS UNLEAVEN? JESUS AND HIS DISCIPLES WERE EATING THE FEAST OF THE UNLEAVEN BREAD AT THE TIME HE INSTITUTED THE LORD’S SUPPER. Mt:26:17: Now the first day of the feast of unleavened bread the disciples came to Jesus, saying unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare for thee to eat the passover? WHAT IS WRONG WITH GIVING THE LORD’S SUPPER WITH LEAVENED BREAD. UNDER THE LAW OF MOSES, IT WAS A MORTAL SIN TO EAT LEAVEN DURING THE FEAST OF UNLEAVENED BREAD. Ex:12:15: Seven days shall ye eat unleavened bread; even the first day ye shall put away leaven out of your houses: for whosoever eateth leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from Israel. HERE ARE WORDS THAT GOD INSPIRED THE APOSTLE PAUL TO RECORD ABOUT LEAVEN. 1Cor:5:8: Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. IF A MAN EATS THE LORD’S SUPPER UNWORTHILY HE WILL BE GUILTY OF THE BODY, AND BLOOD OF CHRIST 1Cor:11:25: After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. 26: For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come. 27: Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. 28: But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. 29: For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. 30: For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep. HOW DO WE AS SAINTS OF GOD BECOME RIGHTEOUS IN THE EYES OF GOD? BY FAITH IN CHRIST JESUS, AND FAITH IN THE BLOOD HE SHED ON CALVARY FOR OUR REDEMPTION. Rom:3:24: Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: 25: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; IS PARTAKING OF THE LORD’S SUPPER A NECESSITY TO SALVATION? ABSOLUTELY, EXCEPT A MAN EAT OF THE FLESH OF THE SON OF MAN, JESUS CHRIST, AND DRINK OF HIS BLOOD HE WILL HAVE NO LIFE IN HIM. Jn:6:53: Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. 54: Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. 55: For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. 56: He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him. 57: As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me. 58: This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever. SHOULD WE EAT SUCH THINGS AS PORK, CATFISH, AND SQUIRREL? UNDER THE LAW OF MOSES THESE THINGS WERE UNCLEAN BECAUSE OF THE ORIGINAL SIN OF ADAM. 4: Nevertheless these shall ye not eat of them that chew the cud, or of them that divide the hoof: as the camel, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you. 5: And the coney, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you. 6: And the hare, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you. 7: And the swine, though he divide the hoof, and be clovenfooted, yet he cheweth not the cud; he is unclean to you. I BELIEVE THAT WHEN CHRIST JESUS WAS CRUCIFIED THERE WAS A FOUNTAIN OPENED, THAT CLEANSED THE PREVIOUSLY UNCLEAN ANIMALS, BIRDS, FISH, AND CREEPING THINGS. IN THE FOLLOWING SCRIPTURES CHRIST JESUS COMMANDS PETER TO KILL AND EAT PREVIOUSLY UNCLEAN ANIMALS. Acts:10:9: On the morrow, as they went on their journey, and drew nigh unto the city, Peter went up upon the housetop to pray about the sixth hour: 10: And he became very hungry, and would have eaten: but while they made ready, he fell into a trance, 11: And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending unto him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth: 12: Wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air. 13: And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat. 14: But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean. 15: And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common. 16: This was done thrice: and the vessel was received up again into heaven. IF ANY MAN PREACHES THAT WE AS CHRISTIANS ARE NOT TO EAT THE FLESH OF SUCH ANIMALS AS HOG, RABBIT, SQUIRREL, ETC. HE IS PREACHING THE DOCTRINE OF THE DEVIL. FOR OUR FOOD IS SANCTIFIED, BY THE WORD OF GOD, JESUS CHRIST, AND THANKSGIVING. 1Tm:4:1: Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; 2: Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; 3: Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. 4: For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: 5: For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer. 6: If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained. UNDER THE LAW OF THE SPIRIT OF LIFE WHICH IS IN CHRIST JESUS IF A PERSON SITS DOWN AT THE TABLE, AND BEGINS TO EAT SUCH THINGS AS PORK, CATFISH, RABBIT, WITHOUT BLESSING HIS FOOD, HE WILL TAKE INTO HIS BODY UNCLEAN FOOD. IT IS MY BELIEF, THAT FOR THIS REASON THERE IS MUCH SICKNESS. IF WE AS CHRISTIANS WILL OBEY THE COMMANDMENTS OF GOD WE CAN DRINK ANY DEADLY THING, UNKNOWING, AND IT WILL NOT HURT US. Mk:16:17: And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18: They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. THERE ARE CERTAIN PEOPLE THAT WE, AS SAINTS OF GOD , ARE NOT TO EAT WITH. WE MAY EAT WITH SINNERS THAT ARE IN SINS SUCH AS FORNICATORS, EXTORTIONERS, AND IDOLATERS, BUT IF A MAN THAT IS CALLED A CHRISTIAN BROTHER IS LIVING IN SIN WE ARE NOT TO EAT WITH HIM. FORNICATION COVERS ALL UNLAWFUL SEX. IF A MAN MARRIES A WOMAN THAT IS DIVORCED, AND HER PREVIOUS HUSBAND IS LIVING, THEY ARE LIVING IN ADULTERY. Rom:7:1: Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth? 2: For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband. Rom 3: So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man. IF A WOMAN MARRIES A MAN THAT HAS DIVORCED HIS WIFE FOR ANY REASON OTHER THAN FORNICATION THEY ARE LIVING IN ADULTERY. Mt:19:9: And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery. ADULTERY DESTROYS THE SOUL, DESTROYS THAT PART OF THE HUMAN BODY THAT SHALL LIVE IN ETERNITY. Prv:6:32: But whoso committeth adultery with a woman lacketh understanding: he that doeth it destroyeth his own soul. HERE IS THE LAW CONCERNING EATING WITH PERSONS IN SIN. 1Cor:5:9: I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators: 10: Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world. 1Cor:5:11: But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat. Cor:5:12: For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within? 1Cor:5:13: But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person. WE, AS BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN THE BODY OF CHRIST, ARE NOT TO EAT BLOOD. FOR THE SPIRIT OF LIFE IS IN THE BLOOD. Lv:17:10: And whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, that eateth any manner of blood; I will even set my face against that soul that eateth blood, and will cut him off from among his people. 11: For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul. UNDER THE LAW OF MOSES THIS LAW HAD TO BE KEPT TO THE LETTER. ALL THE BLOOD HAD TO BE REMOVED BEFORE IT WAS KOSHER OR ACCLAIMED READY TO EAT. BUT, UNDER THE LAW OF THE SPIRIT OF LIFE WHICH IS IN THE BODY OF CHRIST, WE ARE NOT REQUIRED OF GOD TO KEEP THE LAW TO THE LETTER. Rom:7:6: But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter. THEREFORE WE CUT THE ANIMALS THROAT AND DRAIN THE BLOOD FROM THE BODY THEN CUT IT INTO STEAKS, COOK AND EAT. BUT EVEN UNTIL THIS VERY DAY MANY PEOPLE EAT BLOOD SAUSAGE WHICH IS A SERIOUS SIN. THESE WORDS CAME FROM THE ECUMENICAL COUNCIL AT JERUSALEM. AMPLIFIED TRANSLATION ACTS 15:20 But we should send word to them in writing to abstain from and avoid anything that has been polluted by being offered to idols, and all sexual impurity, and [eating meat of animals] that have been strangled, and [tasting of] blood. NEW LIVING TRANSLATION ACTS 15:29 You must abstain from eating food offered to idols, from consuming blood or eating the meat of strangled animals, and from sexual immorality. If you do this, you will do well. Farewell. IT IS ONE THING TO DO SOMETHING FORBIDDEN IN IGNORANCE, BUT IT IS SOMETHING ELSE TO COMMIT A SIN WILFULLY SIN PRESUMPTUOUSLY, BOLDLY, ARROGANTLY. Nm:15:27: And if any soul sin through ignorance, then he shall bring a she goat of the first year for a sin offering. 28: And the priest shall make an atonement for the soul that sinneth ignorantly, when he sinneth by ignorance before the Lord, to make an atonement for him; and it shall be forgiven him. 30: But the soul that doeth ought presumptuously, whether he be born in the land, or a stranger, the same reproacheth the Lord; and that soul shall be cut off from among his people. WHY DO SAINTS OF GOD FAST? WE AS SAINTS OF GOD FAST BECAUSE OF THE PROMISES THAT ARE MADE TO THOSE OF US THAT FAST. Is:58:6: Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke? 8: Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the Lord shall be thy rereward. 9: Then shalt thou call, and the Lord shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am. If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity . THE BIBLE IS TWO TESTAMENTS, IF A MAN MAKES TWO TESTAMENTS, AND THEN DIES IT IS ONLY THE LAST TESTAMENT THAT IS VALID.
