IF YOU ARE A NEW CONVERT TO THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION, YOU MAY NOT KNOW WHAT A SACRIFICE ACTUALLY IS. ACCORDING TO WEBSTER, THE WORD "SACRIFICE" IS DEFINED AS, DESTRUCTION OR SURRENDER OF ONE THING FOR THE SAKE OF SOMETHING. IF YOU ARE A NEW CONVERT TO THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION, YOU MAY NOT BE FAMILIAR AS TO WHY IT WAS NECESSARY FOR JESUS CHRIST TO BE SACRIFICED, TO SAVE MANKIND. LET ME EXPLAIN WHY I BELIEVE THAT IT WAS ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY, THAT A SACRIFICE BE OFFERED UNTO GOD, TO SAVE EVERY CHILD OF GOD EVER TO BE BORN. WHEN GOD, BY THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, CREATED HEAVEN AND EARTH. PHYSICALLY, AND SPIRITUALLY, ALL THINGS WERE GOOD. NOT JUST GOOD, BUT VERY GOOD, CLEAN, SANCTIFIED, AND WELL PLEASING UNTO GOD.

Gn:1:31: And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day. (KJV)

BELOVED, ALL CREATION WAS VERY GOOD, SPIRITUALLY CLEAN, UNPOLLUTED, IMMACULATE. GOD CREATED A MAN, ADAM. AND, PLACED HIM IN THE GARDEN OF EDEN, A PARADISE. AND HE GAVE THE MAN ADAM A COMMANDMENT, THAT HE COULD EAT OF EVERY TREE OF THE GARDEN. BUT, THE TREE OF KNOWLEDGE OF GOOD AND EVIL HE WAS NOT TO EAT OF IT, NEITHER WAS HE TO TOUCH IT. FOR IN THE DAY THAT HE EAT OF THAT TREE; HE WOULD SURELY DIE. WHEN ADAM TRANSGRESS THAT COMMANDMENT, SIN CAME INTO THE WORLD, AND SIN SPIRITUALLY ROSE UP HIGH, AND WENT OVER ALL THE EARTH CONTAMINATING, POLLUTING, AND MAKING UNCLEAN. THE PEOPLE, THE ANIMALS, THE FISH OF THE SEA, THE BIRDS OF THE AIR, THE GROUND. ALL MANKIND WAS IN ADAM AT THE TIME THAT HE TRANSGRESSED THE COMMANDMENT OF GOD, AND BECAUSE OF OUR PHYSICAL UNION WITH ADAM, SIN WAS IMPUTED UNTO US ALL. WHEN THE SPIRIT OF GOD DEPARTED FROM ADAM, ALL MANKIND DIED THE SPIRITUAL DEATH. THE INWARD MAN, THE SOUL, DIED.

1Cor:15:22: For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. (KJV)

SAINTS OF GOD, IT IS THE INWARD MAN THE SOUL THAT SHALL LIVE IN ETERNITY. FOR THE INWARD MAN THE SOUL IS RENEWED EVERY DAY.

2Cor:4:16: For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. (KJV)

BELOVED, NOT ONLY DID THE SOUL OF MAN DIE, BUT THERE WAS A CURSE PUT UPON ALL MANKIND, A SENTENCE OF CONDEMNATION. THE SPIRITUAL DEATH REIGNED UPON ALL MANKIND FROM ADAM TO MOSES. FOR THOUSANDS OF YEARS MEN, WOMEN, AND CHILDREN WENT OUT INTO ETERNITY WITHOUT ANY HOPE OF ETERNAL LIFE. BUT WHEN MOSES WAS BORN, GOD CHOSE HIM A PEOPLE; ISRAEL.

Rom:5:12: Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: Rom:5:13: (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.

Rom:5:14: Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.

CHILDREN OF LIGHT, WHEN MOSES WAS BORN GOD CHOOSE HIMSELF A PEOPLE, ISRAEL. AND ALLOWED THE NATION OF ISRAEL TO PUT OFF THE SPIRITUAL DEATH YEAR BY YEAR BY USING THE SCAPE-GOAT, UNTIL CHRIST JESUS CAME INTO THE WORLD. THE RITUAL OF THE SCAPE GOAT WAS ON THIS WISE. AARON, THE HIGH PRIEST OF ISRAEL, WOULD BRING TWO GOATS BEFORE THE TABERNACLE OF CONGREGATION. THEN AARON WOULD CAST LOTS, TO SEE WHICH GOAT WAS TO BE OFFERED UP AS A SACRIFICE UNTO THE LORD GOD, AND WHICH GOAT WAS TO BE THE SCAPE GOAT. IN THESE VERSES OF SCRIPTURE GOD IS SPEAKING TO MOSES, CONCERNING THE RITUAL OF THE SCAPE GOAT.

Lv:16:8: And Aaron shall cast lots upon the two goats; one lot for the Lord, and the other lot for the scapegoat.

Lv:16:9: And Aaron shall bring the goat upon which the Lord's lot fell, and offer him for a sin offering.

Lv:16:10: But the goat, on which the lot fell to be the scapegoat, shall be presented alive before the Lord, to make an atonement with him, and to let him go for a scapegoat into the wilderness.

HOLY CHILDREN, THEN AARON WOULD TAKE THE LIVE GOAT, AND PLACE BOTH HIS HANDS UPON THE HEAD OF THE GOAT. AND READ ALL THE SINS OF ISRAEL OVER THE LIVE GOAT PLACING THEM UPON THE HEAD OF THE GOAT. COME INTO THIS KNOWLEDGE, HOLY CHILDREN, SIN IS TRANSFERABLE. THE SINS OF ISRAEL WERE TRANSFERRED FROM ISRAEL TO THE HEAD OF THE GOAT.

Lv:16:21: And Aaron shall lay both his hands upon the head of the live goat, and confess over him all the iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their transgressions in all their sins, putting them upon the head of the goat, and shall send him away by the hand of a fit man into the wilderness:

Lv:16:22: And the goat shall bear upon him all their iniquities unto a land not inhabited: and he shall let go the goat in the wilderness

BELOVED OF GOD, THERE WAS NOT A GIFT IN ALL THE WORLD THAT COULD BE OFFERED UP TO GOD TO MAKE AMENDS FOR OUR TRANSGRESSION. THEREFORE, I BELIEVE THAT GOD THE FATHER MADE THE GREATEST SACRIFICE THIS WORLD HAS EVER KNOWN. HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON.

Jn:3:16: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (KJV)

BELOVED, THE TWO GOATS USED IN THE RITUAL OF THE SCAPE GOAT, I BELIEVE WAS A SHADOW OF THAT TO COME, WHICH WAS THE TWO NATURES OF CHRIST. WHEN CHRIST CAME INTO THE WORLD BEING BORN OF THE VIRGIN MARY, I BELIEVE THAT HE WAS BOTH GOD, AND MAN. THE MAN JESUS CHRIST, THE SON OF MAN, WAS OFFERED UP TO GOD AS A SACRIFICE TO MAKE AN ATONEMENT FOR OUR SINS. AND JESUS CHRIST, THE SON OF GOD, TOOK AWAY OUR SINS. ISAIAH, THOUGH HE LIVED HUNDREDS OF YEARS BEFORE CHRIST WAS BORN TO THE VIRGIN MARY. YET, GOD REVEALED CLEARLY, THE CRUCIFIXION OF CHRIST TO HIM.

Is:53:5: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

Is:53:6: All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

Is:53:7: He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.

Is:53:8: He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.

Is:53:9: And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.

Is:53:10: Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.

Is:53:11: He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.

Is:53:12: Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors. (KJV)

YOU MAY WONDER CHILD OF GOD WHY IT WAS NECESSARY FOR CHRIST JESUS TO SUFFER, BLEED, AND DIE? WITHOUT THE SHEDDING OF BLOOD THERE IS NO REMISSION OF SIN.

Heb:9:22: And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission. (KJV)

CHRISTIAN BRETHREN WHY WAS IT NECESSARY FOR CHRIST TO DIE ON CALVARIES CROSS? IT WAS NECESSARY THAT HE MIGHT BE LORD OF BOTH THE LIVING, AND THE DEAD.

Rom:14:9: For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living. (KJV)

BELOVED, WHY WAS IT NECESSARY FOR CHRIST TO SUFFER? GOD SAW THE TRAVAIL OF HIS SOUL, AND WAS SATISFIED.

Is:53:11: He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.

THINK ON THIS SAINTS OF GOD, WITH THE ONE SACRIFICE THAT CHRIST MADE ON CALVARIES CROSS, HE HAS PERFECTED FOR EVER THOSE OF US THAT ARE SANCTIFIED.

Heb:10:14: For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified. (KJV)

CHILDREN OF GOD, GREATER LOVE HATH NO MAN THEN THIS, THAT A MAN LAY HIS LIFE DOWN FOR HIS FRIEND. LISTEN CAREFULLY BROTHERS AND SISTERS, NO ONE WILL EVER LOVE YOU MORE THAN CHRIST LOVES YOU. FOR IT WAS HE THAT MADE THE SUPREME SACRIFICE, HE GAVE HIS LIFE FOR OUR REDEMPTION. WE ARE NOT OUR OWN, WE HAVE BEEN BOUGHT WITH A PRICE, NOT WITH SILVER OR GOLD, BUT WITH THE PRECIOUS BLOOD OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST.

1Pt:1:18: Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;

SAINTS OF GOD, WHEN CHRIST WAS CRUCIFIED; AS THE MEN DROVE THE NAILS INTO HIS HANDS, AND INTO HIS FEET. AS THE NAILS STRUCK THE CROSS, THEY NAILED EVERY ORDINANCE THAT WAS AGAINST US TO THE CROSS, TAKING THEM OUT OF THE WAY.

BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN CHRIST, WHEN THE MEN RAISED CHRIST UP ON THE CROSS. IT WAS ON THE CROSS, THAT CHRIST JESUS TORE DOWN THE PARTITION BETWEEN THE JEW, AND THE GENTILE; AND MADE OF THE TWO, ONE NEW MAN IN CHRIST.

Eph:2:10: For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Eph:2:11: Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;

HOLY CHILDREN, BEFORE CHRIST HANG ON CALVARIES CROSS, WE AS GENTILES WERE WITHOUT HOPE OF ETERNAL LIFE. BUT NOW IN CHRIST WE HAVE HOPE OF LIFE ETERNAL. WHEN CHRIST HANG ON CAVALRIES CROSS, HE TOOK AWAY FROM US THE CURSE, THE SENTENCE OF CONDEMNATION, BEING MADE A CURSE FOR US.

Gal:3:13: Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

Gal:3:14: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

SAINTS OF GOD, WHEN A CHILD IS BORN INTO THE WORLD, BECAUSE OF THE ORIGINAL SIN OF ADAM, THE CHILD IS ALIVE PHYSICALLY, BUT DEAD SPIRITUALLY.

THE CHILD MUST BE BORN AGAIN. THE INWARD MAN THE SOUL MUST BE BROUGHT TO LIFE. THAT WHICH IS BORN OF FLESH IS FLESH, THAT WHICH IS BORN OF SPIRIT IS SPIRIT.

Jn:3:5: Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. Jn:3:6: That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

Jn:3:7: Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

HOLY CHILDREN, GOD BY THE MOUTH OF THE APOSTLE PETER, HAS MADE US A MOST PRECIOUS PROMISE. AND, THAT IS IF WE WILL REPENT, AND BE BAPTIZED IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST. WE SHALL RECEIVE THE HOLY GHOST.

Acts:2:38: Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. (KJV)

BROTHERS, AND SISTERS, IN THIS WORLD THE MOST WONDERFUL THING THAT SHALL HAPPEN TO YOU, IS RECEIVING THE GIFT OF THE HOLY GHOST. FOR WHEN A PERSON RECEIVES THE HOLY GHOST, THE INWARD MAN THE SOUL COMES TO LIFE. AND THE RECEIVING OF THE HOLY GHOST IS EARNEST OF OUR INHERITANCE. AFTER THE DEATH, BURIAL, AND RESURRECTION OF CHRIST JESUS, HE CAME TO HIS DISCIPLES AND BREATHED ON THEM AND SAID, RECEIVE YE THE HOLY GHOST. THIS WAS THE RECONCILIATION OF GOD, AND MAN. WHEN CHRIST BREATHED ON HIS DISCIPLES AND SAID, RECEIVE YE THE HOLY GHOST, THE KINGDOM OF GOD CAME, POWER CAME, LOVE CAME, SALVATION CAME, THE GREATEST TEACHER THIS WORLD HAS EVER KNOWN CAME. THE ANOINTING CAME THAT TEACHES US AND BRINGS US INTO ALL TRUTH.
