SWEET CHARLOTTE'S BEDROOM Well aren't you the brave one, venturing in here! I bet you are just curious as to who I am... Well to begin with, you have probably guessed that I live in Bermuda. I was born here and have lived here my whole life. I feel previledged to call myself a Bermudian... The people here and the Island are very special. I am very much a career woman....a great deal of my time is taken up with administering to two companies....the bulk of my other time is devoted to my son, Johnathan, who will be eight in October. Any time left over after that is mine! Trust me there isn't much!!! Into the daylight time I squeeze as much golf as I possibly can! You could say I am a little obsessed with it....and into my free evening hours...well, you could say I hack around on the Internet. Other things I like doing include travel....I love to travel at the drop of a pin!...reading..I like mysteries, comedy, horror (Dean Koontz, Stephen King)...and I LOVE poetry! I enjoy music of all kinds, movies and Broadway shows. I especially love the outdoors, swimming and sailing....and a special love of my is the mountains in Autumn....There is nothing as beautiful as the changing of the seasons! Last but not least I enjoy people....One thing I believe is that we can never have too many friends....true friends....in our lives! Oh! I almost forgot....in case you are wondering about the yellow rose at the bottom of each page....it's my favorite flower..... I am a single mom....my husband passed away two years ago.... But like they say, things happen for a reason, and life does goes on. With time our hearts heal and life begins anew. This life of ours is a fantastic journey. We never know which road it will lead us to and what adventure we are about to embark upon! There are two very special people in my life, Dave and Kennedy Bird who helped me survive emotionally and grow during the bleek period of my life. They helped me realize that my life had not ended....it was just beginning a new chapter. They are now beginning a new chapter in their lives with a newborn expected on Valentine's Day! October 8th., 1997 For all the journeys I have made throughout my life, I have been totally blessed. A new cycle of life has begun for me, and it is all because of one man... A man who has completely fulfilled me and whom I so totally love and adore, A man who has brought so much love and joy into my life. This man I will spend the rest of my life with and soon I will leave my Island home and embark on a fantastic adventure of life with him. Michael Falconer, my sweetheart, I love you and soon we will share every sunrise and every sunset together, forever. January 25th., 1998 Michael, Johnathan and myself have spent a wonderful Christmas together. Michael came to Bermuda for ten days, then we travelled to Florida where we all spent Christmas together. On Christmas Eve Michael officially asked me to marry him. I am truly blessed to have this very special man as a part of my life. The road I now travel is filled with much love, excitement and joy.
