Elisha was our first born. A blessing to both her mother and father.  As I watched her grow I was always amazed at things she did.   I watched her grow from a baby to a toddler to a little girl.   I listened to her about her dreams of becoming either a teacher or a veterinarian.  I remember one day we were talking and she told me that she would be a teacher for 3 years then switch to be a veterinarian for the next 3 years after that.  I remember just laughing and told her she could be anything she wanted to be.  She was my special little girl.  She was always smiling.  She cared so much for others.  She loved little kids and would sit and play with them when the older children would leave them out.  I called her the little mother a role I am sure she would be wonderful for when she had her own kids.

On November 18, 1998 Our little girl passed away.   We never would imagine she would leave us at the tender age of 10. Elisha died of a brain anuesym we never knew she had.  Even when I am sure she knew something was wrong she was laughing.  She was at the babysitter and walked out into the living room laughing saying her head hurt and collapsed.  That was your typical Elisha smiling and laughing.

Elisha was our angel here on Earth and now she our angel in Heaven.  She up there waiting  for mommy, daddy and little sis Jessica.   I know she is not alone she has her Papa, Meme, and Grandpa up there she can run around with.  I can picture her up with all the little kids playing school with them.  I can see her checking out her new wings saying "Wow this is cool"

She was a Daughter, Sister, Granddaughter, Great-Granddaughter, Niece, Cousin and most of all a Friend.

Lighting the Way
The rain is falling on our hearts today
For we lost a dear friend
she was only Ten
Cloudy and Chilly, just like we feel
Our souls so bare, the pain so real
Hard to imagine, what reason He had
taking her precious life, leaving us so sad.
Friends were abundant, Family so Dear
We'll all miss her laughter, that smile so rare
The warmth of her hugs
that let you know she cared.
Elisha, you were so beautiful on the inside and out
A fine teacher you'd have made, i have no doubt
No more dreams are you here to share,
But all those memories we will hold so dear.
A Guardian Angel went to Heaven today,
I am sure her smile is Lighting the Way.

Elisha

You brought spirit, love and happiness to us all,
Always laughing and smiling, you never put up a fuss,
Caring and compassionate, and you never wore a frown
You always brought us sunshine when our rains were falling down.
You left us so suddenly, but you were happy, thats for sure,
In your innocence so tenderand so pure.
We'll miss your grace and we'll miss your charm,
But where you are now, you will never be harmed.
As you walk your path to heaven, remember this from us all,
While your walking, Angels voices you'll hear,
Listen closely, for its your name they will call.

You are greatly missed and very well loved.
We will always remember your smiling face.
Thanks for being such a wonderful little girl.
You were a pleasure to be around.
