Here's a little about myself. My friends call me "Dan" and I'm from Singapore. I'm a retired Merchant Navy Captain. After having sailed round the world in Merchant ships, my desire is to sail around the world in a sailboat. Alas no sponsor. :(
My age? Well let's just say that I was born in the year of the ox more than forty years ago. You can work it out yourself. However I'm still young at heart. Ahem!....
I'm lucky to have married to a kind, understanding and wonderful wife and we have two lovely daughters who are in the primary schools.
My interests are: golf, sailing, travel, irc and surfing the internet.
In irc I usually sign on as "uncle" or "minobi" and my favourite channels are:
#chatpalace in pacific.net.sg and, #kuantan, #sabah and #china in the undernet.
