Matamata Golf Club Trophy Conditions

Patrons Trophy: 54 holes stableford. In event of tie play off over 18 holes stab.
Blythe Cup: 36 hole nett. In event of a tie, play off 18 holes nett.
Peace Medal: Aggregate of five best nett scores from seven rounds. In event of tie, sixth round to count.
Winter Cup: Best gross score, 36 holes (the Winter Cup and Lund Cup are played in conjunction, one player cannot win both cups).
Mel Loveridge Memorial: Handicap match play, 32 to qualify (sudden death).
Gordon Irving Rosebowl: Handicap match play , 32 to qualify (sudden death)
Old Parr Cup: Three rounds points system, stableford, bogey medal. In event of a tie, play off medal round. The three rounds must be played.
Captain’s / Vice Captain’s Trophy: Handicap matchplay, 16 qualify in each event.
“Fairway” Veteran Cup: Age 50 and over. 18 holes best net score.
Clowies Bar Ringers: Best score for year in Saturday Club Competitions. Gross-Net trophies.
Stroke Play Championships: 36 holes gross in five grades. Senior 0-8; Intermediate 9-12, Intermediate B 13-17; Junior 18-24; Junior B 25-36.
Club Matchplay Championships: Match Play – Five grades 16 to qualify in each grade. Senior 0-8; Intermediate 9-12; Intermediate B 13-17; Junior 18-24; Junior B 25-36.
You must inform the starter of the grade you will be playing before the start of the Strokeplay. This must be the same grade for both stroke and matchplay championships.
Golfer of the Week: Nett weekly competition 0-36.
Lynch Cup: Four ball, best ball. Handicap match play. No replacements allowed.
“Big Four” Cup: Foursomes handicap, net 36 holes ½Combined Handicap.
Summer Cup: Best two of three rounds nett.
Svedala Shoot Out: Best two rounds net - open to qualify each Saturday - with 30 best nett total to finals, the rest in reserve.
