My name is Manny Chinchay, and I am a sophomore at Santa Clara University in Santa Clara, CA.  I browsed through many webpages of various bands, and decided I should make my own website dedicated to perhaps my favorite band, JD. I checked out many of the JD websites linked from Yahoo, and all were brilliantly created. I guess you can find the same type of information on most of the JD websites. I tried to create a nice layout for the site, and hope people enjoy taking a look at it. Obviously the site doesn't really need to be kept up since there isn't any news out there concerning JD (other than perhaps another tribute album).  

I became a Joy Division fan in 1994 when I was a high school sophomore. My friend played 'Substance' in the car, and I fell in love with the sound immediately. Ian's voice, along with the lyrics made me look into the band a lot more, and my collection began. I own every album, along with the more popular singles (this is because I have not been able to find others). Other bands I enjoy listening to include New Order, Depeche Mode, The Cure, OMD, Siouxsie, and Bowie.
